Every so often, we might put a topic here because there's been a lot of posts about it, or because there has been a long megathread and the issue is talked out. If something is on the list here, it is a temporary banned topic. W Korea's event (and everything to do with it) Which generation we are in, when that generation started etc KpopDemonHunters submitted by /u/KpopThoughtsmodteam [link] [comments]

Okay so I don't really want an objective score or ranking but an honest subjective understanding of their vocals. Personally I really enjoy all of their voices but lean more towards jungkook and jin's voice more. They all add a different flavour to the group songs and I really admire that. But what bugs me is that when people talk about their vocals they are all looking at it retrospectively rather than look at their recent vocal growths. So I would like to discuss their vocals considering their last live performance or even in their solo albums( pls don't review the albums. Just the vocal skills showcased on them) Best example being jin. People don't look at his recent performances and straight up say he is not good and should stick to this genre and stuff like that. Some even say he is not good and that's why he has least lines in the group songs. I can't really pass out judgement on their vocals when it comes to technicality but I would like to read about such stuff more. Pls be nice guys and don't be biased. Tldr: subjective review of bts vocals based on the most recent performances or album. submitted by /u/blue-rasmalai-639 [link] [comments]

Am I the only one who constantly thinks about this? I personally find it sad that first generation groups (Seo Taiji and Boys, Shinhwa, S.E.S, Fin.K.L, g.o.d etc.) still remain largely unknown, especially among K-Pop fans in the West. Most of their concerts are only held within South Korea, with the occasional Asia-wide tour. But these groups all helped, aesthetically and musically, to lay the path for the newer groups we all know and love, and it would be cool to share an influential part of the history of K-Pop with younger and new fans. Perhaps KCON would be a great place to slowly introduce these groups? submitted by /u/RandomCarGuy26 [link] [comments]

According to Joong Ang Daily, a video clip of Seungri on the stage of a night club in Cambodia resurfaced recently. On the backdrop was the logo of "Prince Brewing", which was a business of Prince Holding Group, a Cambodia-based conglomerate. The night club has changed its owner since. It is unclear if Seungri knew what Prince Holding Group was up to as Prince Brewing appeared as if a regular nightclub and brewery company on the surface. The chairman of Prince Holding Group is Chen Zhi (aka Vincent Chen), a China-born British national whose 127,271 bitcoins were under the custody of USA's Department of Justice after the investigation on cryptocurrency fraud and human trafficking of Prince Holding Group. Chen Zhi still is at large. submitted by /u/Neatboot [link] [comments]

I’ve been working on a full TWICE x Big Room tribute mix (28 mashups total), but because of platform rules I put together this 20‑minute highlight reel for Mixcloud. It’s short, punchy, and festival‑style — featuring mashups like: • GET LOUD vs. EMKR – Lost In The Music • ICON vs. Martin Garrix – Tremor (Ultra Europe 2024 ID) • LIKEY vs. W&W x Blasterjaxx – Dynamite (Bigroom Nation) • TT vs. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – Mammoth • Crubbixz – Running Back To You vs. Blasterjaxx – Rulers Of The Night (10 Years) This is the “official” version I can share publicly: 🔗Mixcloud link For those who want the full uncut 28‑track tribute, let’s just say… DM me 😉 submitted by /u/Dry-Masterpiece-3925 [link] [comments]
