I want to know your K-pop hot takes — the opinions you usually wouldn’t say within a fandom. It could be about a group, a soloist, a member going solo, or company, styling, concepts, award shows… honestly, anything K-pop related. It doesn’t have to be negative — it can be something good that’s just unpopular too. Basically, what’s an opinion you have that might not be well-received in stan spaces? Also, let’s keep things respectful. This is a hot take thread, so if you disagree with someone, feel free to say so — kindly. Let’s not downvote just because we don’t agree. Everyone’s allowed to have an opinion, even if it’s one they usually keep quiet. Now spill 👀 submitted by /u/No_Background9179 [link] [comments]
I’ve been completely obsessed with the song Gabriela lately — I need to learn how to sing it. Most of the song is kinda manageable for me, but Lara's parts are where I struggle the most. I get what she’s doing emotionally, but vocally I’m just not there yet. I want to sing it correctly — or at least not butcher it 😅 Also, I’d love any tips on Sofía’s parts and the Spanish section in general — especially any specific techniques they might be using. If anyone has vocal exercises, techniques, or just any advice at all — please help! submitted by /u/lilstarmi [link] [comments]
In the end credits of the MV, two "ai artists" were credited (that specific phrase was used in the credits). I feel like we're going to continue down this slippery slope, because when people give these companies an inch, they take a mile. It's just unfortunately because soon enough, if not already, real artists will start losing their jobs and be replaced by low effort AI slop. submitted by /u/KillerKingKobra [link] [comments]

Okay, can we just take a moment to appreciate how wild it is that 3racha created the theme for "Hollow" pre-debut? They were literally teenagers when they made it, and now we're finally got the song years later... holy moly. That's just incredible... Also they made "just a little" 4-5yrs ago lol and the whole album is just so good. But then I remembered Changbin mentioning they once made an entire album full of easy listening songs and ballads ......just only to completely scrap it because it didn't feel like them, like their identity. Just imagine how many unreleased songs they must have sitting around because of that dedication! It really shows how insanely passionate they are and how much they genuinely love making music on their own terms. They truly live and breathe it. They spoiled stays sooo bad ...as a stay I always want them something to release..I enjoy their songs ..... i feel so empty when they don't release anything even for 3 months . submitted by /u/Longjumping-Bee5290 [link] [comments]

And couldn't stop myself from making a post lol. Since it's an animated movie inspired by the k-pop I thought we might get silly or at times cringey lyrics and songs. Boy i was wrong. My absolute favorite song is - Your idol by the Saja Boys. It's not only a perfect villain coded song but also a great song depicting how k-pop fans usually get obsessed with their idols and groups. Really well done. I also loved 'What it sounds like' by the Huntrix. Such a beautiful song with great and uplifting message. The whole movie was great, from the band names to the songs, production, hell even the animation was great. AND we got an almost enemies to lovers arch, ugh! I kind of want a second part now. submitted by /u/duh_leah [link] [comments]
Suffice to say, I've seen it all, and I'm still in my 20's lol. But I actually think that my opinion might be unpopular. I've seen others fall out of love with the music/this world in different ways. Some argue that k-pop just keeps getting worse, and that the "olden times" (insert whatever gen here) were the best, or that the music was better, etc. This is my hot take, I guess. K-pop has always been great, and it still is. I might even argue that the genre keeps getting better and evolving while still having that funky "k-pop" nature to it still. There's still the menu of different concepts, the integration of trends, and so many groups to choose from. So much music and releases pretty much every week. High production value. It's all still the same audiovisual dream that captured my imagination as a tween. I know we all consume content differently, but I am still so amused by the genre, and it always intrigues me when I see people complaining about it. This industry still does have many issues at its core, I am not denying that, but the content is not really part of those issues to me. I am a multistan for the most part but I do have/have had my faves throughout the years. I think the reason why I haven't left is because I reeeaaally like the music itself, it seems. submitted by /u/neoncloud0 [link] [comments]
What do you guys think the youtube channels that use ai to make songs using the bts members' voice and clips of their like idk videos? My mum(a pastor) suddenly told me that jungkook made a new like worship music video and i was like what no if he did there would be more like news of it and i searched it and omd. This channel is called Holy Wave Jams. I got so pissed honestly. Is not the first time ive seen music videos like this in youtube. Ive seen this like 3 idol collaboration song or smt and it was also used by ai and yeah. Like shouldn't youtube be banning these type of stuff cuz is against the law or smt? The highest views they got is 81k. They're tricking people into thinking this is from bts when its not and say that they used ai so they dont get like sued but still is so disrespectful. submitted by /u/parkenste1n [link] [comments]

I’m not a fan of any K-pop group anymore, just someone who loves scrolling through TikTok and Twitter and seeing what pops up on my feed. Drop a group name and I’ll give you one word that comes to mind when I think of them. Could be based on vibe, scandals, fan behavior, visuals, memes, whatever comes first. submitted by /u/Conscious_Mall_8578 [link] [comments]
