Why is no none talking about cant stop?? I really wish this was their Korean comeback tt tbh or at least a b-side. Beautiful strangers in my opinion was safe, we know they can do all that but this song... this song is definitely a step up for them, again in my opinion. I just hate that hybe is so bridgephobic, this song DESERVED one. And the music video? byeeeeee so good, the choreo goes so hard too, I think Love Language and Cant stop would have been an unstoppable duo if they made either one the tt and promoted that for their Korean comeback. submitted by /u/AdEmergency6619 [link] [comments]

I saw someone else do it and I thought it'd be fun to do myself! Give me any song, I don't care if it's kpop or not and I'll rate it! Only drop a song that you are fine with me giving my honest opinion about. If I don't like a song that you like, please respect that. Thank you. submitted by /u/hrtsforjoohyoung [link] [comments]

44. Are there any remixes you guys prefer over the original?

  • 10 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Personally I really enjoy the ag cook remix of 3D by Jungkook, mostly because I’m a really big fan of his production style and I think it adds a unique and interesting dimension to the song that the original was lacking. Anyone else have any song where you’ve thought a remix (official or not) was better/more interesting than the original song? submitted by /u/detonatediamond [link] [comments]

45. For kpop fans who are music producers, what are the hardest kpop songs to remake/recreate?

  • 10 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Okay so I’m a music producer myself and I guess some in this community has tried making remakes of kpop songs through producing, the hardest for me to recreate is either BP and Skz songs I guess with the fact that each section has so many layers into them. What are yours? submitted by /u/Legal_Potential4720 [link] [comments]

46. Why aren't there as many Japanese, Thai, or Chinese idols?

  • 10 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Why don't people like it when there are Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or anyone other than Korean members? I've noticed that fewer and fewer non-Korean idols are debuting (obviously excluding global groups). Why do you think that is? Also, when non-Korean idols debut, they are initially less loved and more criticized or even ignored. Some of the few examples of recent non-Korean debuts: -Thai Chiquita and Pharita: Members of the K-pop group BabyMonster. -Japanese Giselle (aespa): The lead vocalist of aespa. Kazuha (Le Sserafim): Member of Le Sserafim. submitted by /u/Effective_Science_35 [link] [comments]

47. koreaboo groups should never be accepted

  • 11 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

kpop groups: korean, korean-american, sometimes members from neighboring countries. koreaboo groups: on the rise (i.e. katseye) because they want on the k-wave. they want their own representation in korean representation, it is closer to colonization than diversity. every country should share their culture and have success. foreigners moving from their own cultures, placing another culture on their own, and forcing a place in a different culture for their own financial gain and fame is colonization. let korea be korean. your culture is good too, so instead of using korea and koreans to make yourself be big, you can use the potential you think you have (or in reality what you want korea to give to you) and bring attention and admiration to your own country. try to mimic what kpop groups do that they grew up influenced around to try to appeal to the market. or just try and be the main character y/n and think telling everyone your sexuality is going to change the nation. it's arrogant and self-centered. you can be beautiful, talented, and successful in a country you don't need to constantly fight against because it's not for you. not every culture is for everyone. don't force yourself into it because you brainwashed yourself into thinking the only way you can be beautiful or be successful is by being a kpop idol. let koreans have representation. submitted by /u/Careful_Ice4759 [link] [comments]

51. K pop similar to &Team? (J pop)

Helloo! I am looking for groups that have similar music to the J pop group &Team. I don't normally listen to J pop or K pop as much as I did in the past, but this group brought me back. Does anyone know similar groups that have the same vibe? I will share a few songs. But I found them threw the Anime Honey Lemon Soda. Which is very enjoyable! Have a blessed day everyone! Thank you! 54. kpop tours - based on discussions of Blackpink’s tour (no hating)

  • 13 hours ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I would like to preface this by saying I’m not a Blink, just someone who has been in the kpop scene since 2013 & has listened to their music before. I don’t know specific personal details about them as a group/individuals, just whatever has been on twt or tt throughout the years. I’m indifferent about their music/performances/appearances. I do NOT want anyone to take this as a chance to hate on them, this is not the place for you. I don’t believe in unnecessarily hating on something if you personally don’t like it, it’s easy to just move on and find something you like without spreading hate. ————— now on to the actual discussion point lmao: Kpop groups need to seriously consider having openers & such for their tours (doesn’t have to be all stops, just having some would be enough of a start lol) several groups have done it before, usually with a group pre-debut/debuted under the same company (Ateez with Xikers, they did this perfectly). it’s also just very common in the rest of music industry to have other acts open for the main act, even big names have opening acts. I’ve been seeing a bunch of hate on Blackpink’s tour. People are always complaining about their performances, they also don’t have a lot of music released as a group, though I think they’re in the middle of releasing work (not sure, pls correct if wrong), members ofc should have their solo stages too. ppl often mention about a lack of energy, but I’ve seen Blinks say it’s for medical reasons and such. I think it would be pretty beneficial for them to tour with an opening group. who? maybe the new group that YG is currently planning to debut, I think that would be refreshing for everyone, and bc the only other active gg in the company is Babymonster. I don’t think they should have a soloist open, but a couple of soloists opening isn’t the worst option. the kpop companies don’t seem like they’re about to release collabs with each other so that option, while a nice concept (& tbh a lot of capitalistic potential), isn’t realistic. depending on the country, they can switch it up too, it doesn’t NEED to be a kpop artist. Having another act might give them a bit more of a break. it’s also not like the act is a waste of concert time, fans would be aware of it when purchasing tickets. I just think kpop tours (& tbh most tours in general) have reached a little stagnant point (which makes sense considering the state of the world), there is just a lot of lost potential. [please correct me if I’ve got any of the information wrong, I’ll edit it] submitted by /u/Holiday_Amphibian343 [link] [comments]

  • 13 hours ago schedule

Let me explain: which K-pop groups do you think haven't evolved? They used to take more risks in terms of their aesthetics, music, and choreography, but now they play it safe, which is why their songs sound common, soulless, or repetitive. They found a basic formula and just stick to it. submitted by /u/Effective_Science_35 [link] [comments]
