omg! another post about blackpink hate! but no am i the only one who feels like it’s getting out of hand…? specifically on tiktok. i know twitter, that’s never gonna change but i don’t think i’ve seen a group get this much hate on an app before. like wdym an account with over a million followers is out here posting this. it’s weird. like genuinely. idk i feel like it’s just being blown way over proportion. megan from katseye appeared in a tiktok recently too dancing to jump and someone deadass said in the comments they were hoping it’d be blackpink shade…😭 idk. like what even is the crime? being a little off sync? standing still for 3 seconds out of a 3 hour show? i saw them in la. they sing live (a lot more than other groups but that’s neither here nor there), they dance the choreo, they still interact with fans and keep the audience hype. i’m genuinely not seeing what’s causing these people to burn them like witches at the stake. submitted by /u/Outrageous-Ad7806 [link] [comments]

That comment is about blackpinks recent tour, the video it was under is from a blink who was showing parts where the members messed up their performances. This is such a common mindset within blinks and it genuinely frustrates and upsets me to see. I made a comment on a video a while ago basically saying that YG counts on the fact that blinks are so content starved that they’ll just settle for anything. And blinks prove that right time and time again. On one hand i know that I shouldn’t feel bad for blinks because at the end of the day they choose to stan blackpink. But it gets to a point where I wonder, how do you justify spending your money on something that is consistently mediocre. There are so many things about this tour that obviously show that YG are not willing to spend too much on it, so they can make the most profit back, and that is not right. As a consumer you have the right to complain and criticise, and that includes YG and the girls. YG for very obviously scamming the fans, then the girls for not at least putting on a decent synchronised performance with consistent energy. I’m a firm believer that even if you really love something/someone, then you can fairly criticise it/them. I hope blinks know that the people behind this tour are getting their pay-checks and laughing at how pathetic the fans are for spending so much on the bare minimum effort. So I recently went to the HYBE Cinema Noraebang screening at a nearby theatre and wow. I didn’t expect to walk out this blown away by ENHYPEN. I remember loving their album 'DIMENSION: ANSWER' and playing it on repeat back in 2022. Later, my music taste shifted to another genre before coming back to K-pop last year. Now, I'm diving deep into their discography, and I'm so excited to check them out. Their tracks 'XO', 'Bite' and 'Sweet Venom' were part of the Noraebang setlist, and seeing them on the big screen with that surround sound hit totally different. The energy, visuals, and vocals were insane. Right after the show ended, I was literally humming these songs. I've literally had these songs on repeat ever since, especially 'Bite'. I don’t know what it is, but every time I hear it now, it feels like I'm hearing it for the first time all over again. Everything from the vitality of songs like love dive and magnetic, to the emotions of songs like hwaa and either way. It always makes me happy when my brain feels like something is familiar and there is actually that spark of like "YEP THAT'S IT." In this episode of "Hey -- wait I know that beat" is BATTITUDE (Twice's sub unit piece for their tour) and how it is most likely using the beat of HELLA GOOD by No Doubt. I've been noticing more and more groups pull directly from other songs.
