Chanelle, Yewon, and Athena appeared on Joon and Brian BYOB. The three of them did a cappella of their song 'Gravity' with raw vocals. Their ability to break into a perfect 3-part harmony on command with no backing was very incredible. Chanelle sang 'Gravity' live on a radio show last year. Chanelle and Athena sang 'Gravity' during a Show Champion interview. Their MMT vocals were actually so good?? Like super stable and clear even live. It doesn’t feel overdone, just really natural. You can tell they’re comfy with their voices. Their vocals on CoolFM were really solid. Everyone sounded really clear and in control, and there was a natural smoothness in how they blended together. It’s clean and confident singing that shows they are getting more comfortable with live performances. You can really hear the potential in their tone and how well they harmonize. They have good vocals that make you want to keep listening. Hana and Athena sounded really good on dingo music. Their voices were super clear and matched really well. Chanelle and Hana really showed how strong and steady their vocals are when they sang 'Golden' on MonKiz’s Footsteps. It’s not an easy song to pull off, especially live, but they handled it with surprising control. FIFTY FIFTY sang really well on K-Star Next Door. Their live vocals were clean and steady, and you could tell they were fully present in the performance. Athena especially stood out when she sang her part in Atlantis Princess. She handled it with confidence and control, and her tone suited the song beautifully. FIFTY FIFTY also did a great job singing Christmas songs on hello82. Their harmonies were smooth, and their vocals had a warm and relaxed tone. They stayed on pitch and sounded natural, which shows how solid their vocal foundation is. They also performed several songs on a channel called HEYDAY. Each girl showed strong control and a natural tone, especially in the live setting. Their voices blended well together, and they handled their vocals smoothly, which really highlighted their vocal ability. My favourite performance from them is definitely their cover of "Jasmine" by Lee Seungchul. They sang it with so much emotion and control, and you could really hear the depth in their vocals. Choose not for popularity or favoritism but for talent, who is a good leader, singer, composer, actor, model, beauty, rapper, dancer, etc. For me Lee Taeyong is the ACE of kpop, that man really knows how to do his job, he is a very good leader, he sings, raps, dances incredibly and not to mention beauty because he has everything, he writes beautiful songs, he is an incredible person. I don't know if they saw his reaction when the music producer won that award and he didn't applaud from there I fell in love with him. How he corrects his group members in the choreographies is impressive, it's even scary, it's too professional, I love it. This situation truly shows me that sexual assault cases involving male and trans victims are completely brushed out by the public, because how tf can Alexander Wang still have a platform after he APOLOGIZED for how he behaved with the male models accusing him of sexual misconduct ? (If you don't know, he's been accused of sexual assault by 11 individuals, he denied it at first but then apologized and met with the alleged victims) When Cl went to the Met Gala through his brand, I thought that it was because she had to fulfill a contract that she signed before the whole thing went down. Wang disappeared for some time but then made his comeback on the runaway, and then took a photo with G-Dragon, CL, Minzy and Dara ?? They are still close ? Even publicly supporting him after what he admitted to have done to those men ? What in the world ? That crushed the reason why I was such a big Blackjack and GBZ to begin with. How can you sing about empowerment and fighting your way through life, and be friends with someone who abused his power to do things to people who couldn't fight back without facing career ending consequences ? This is just so shady and wrong. I am not saying that people should stop supporting their faves, but they should be at the very least be held accountable for rubbing shoulders with a predator. I was recently thinking about all the K-pop survival shows I watched, and the trainees I kept rooting for even if they didn’t make the final group. For me, one of the biggest ones was Lee Jaeeok, who was on Under Nineteen and Wild Idol. He made it so far (ranked 8th!) but didn’t debut. It always broke my heart a bit. But this year, I found out that he finally debuted as a soloist under the name AEEO with a small indie release called Stars. It’s emotional, stripped back, and honestly… beautiful. It makes me so happy to see him still chasing his dream. Curious to hear from others, which trainees stuck with you? First things first, I like black pink and their new song. I just think that if you look at black pinks choreography with other songs, this one is just a little boring?? Idk the whole song they just do this weird hip wiggle thing and they walk around a bit. And that’s it.
