2.327. What song released more than a year ago did you just discover recently?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

As the title say, is there a song that was released over a year ago, which you just discovered recently, had never heard before, and now totally love? To me it's NMIXX - Roller Coaster and Kiss of Life (yes, I just had my first time listening to their songs). For KIOF I'm fall in love with Te Quiero and R.E.M submitted by /u/shaftmajo [link] [comments]

2.328. What would you change in my ranking?

This is ranked musically wise, like how much I love their music, those in the "not my type" category is either I didn't recognize their logo, I just don't know who they are or I just don't like them. submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]

2.329. Which kpop song do you wish had more popularity

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Can be title tracks or bsides! Personally I wish Ateez "now this house ain't a home" had more popularity outside the fandom, those in the fandom absolutely love this song but outside of the fandom it's unknown, the lyrics are relatable and could resonate with others, I hope this song have an igloo moment but ateez rarely promote their bsides.. submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]

I had a dream where I was at a concert, and out of nowhere, the host said this. “Alright everyone! H.O.T(OT5), EXO(OT11), Bigbang(OT4), ZE:A(OT9), SHINee(without Jonghyun) and Super Junior(OT15) will all be performing on stage as 1 group! Everyone started to go wild at the concert and it was epic! They play a song which was called, “행복한 사람들 그룹” I want this to be real submitted by /u/SillySonkaMemes [link] [comments]

Although a lot of my favorite groups released albums this year, I can't really say any album released so far has been go to. I wish I did like an album to the point where I could repeat it too. Has anyone found an AOTY worthy album released yet? submitted by /u/dalganjans87 [link] [comments]

2.337. Am I the only one who finds MOST kpop fans to be hypocrites

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

I know this is going to sound rude and all but I need to talk about this. Most kpop fans are huge hypocrites. For example, they want idols to rest but they keep requesting more songs, more content and more appearances in music shows. Like hello?? You need to practice a lot to do that. Do people think they just go on stage, perform, then it's over? I'm sorry but that's not how it works. And I am not talking about when idols don't release songs for over 10 months or a year. I'm talking about groups that released a comeback 3 months ago and finished promotions 1 month ago. Seriously just let those poor idols rest instead of asking for comebacks and nonstop performances just a bit after an idol's comeback. Let those poor people rest submitted by /u/straykifsontop [link] [comments]

2.340. Maybe I grew up or was it just K-pop addiction phase?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Honestly recently I somehow distanced myself from K-pop and Korean dramas ect. It wasn't intentional but it feels like it happened in one day. I started to see idols like a humans not people to actually idolise. I started to see small differences between idols professional fan service and them as a people by listening their interviews and this K-pop marketing stopped working for me for some reason. I don't want to buy stuff, merch and spend my money. Only maybe occasionally on concerts of artists I like and I know will perform well that would be willing to come to my country or at least neighbours. I started to see that some idols behaviour feel forced sometimes not genuine. I started to see it like an actual job for many idols not a perfect dream come true job. I even followed few sites that were giving news and updates about idols but now it doesn't feel interesting anymore. I listen to old songs by various K-pop artists I know but I don't check out new stuff and somehow I don't feel the need or urge to do it. I was huge BTS/Stray Kids/Ateez fan but now I don't even check their Instagram and when I get a notification that a member is live I tend to ignore it and don't feel the need to check it out. I only watch sometimes interviews and variety shows on YT because my algorithm is still 80% K-pop based. Now I wonder if maybe it was just a phase or temporary (5 years) addition instead or maybe I grew out of it. It feels partially wrong but also freeing for some reason. Have you felt similarly? submitted by /u/TruthApprehensive304 [link] [comments]

2.343. Why is so hard to believe Idols do Plastic Surgery?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

We're in 2025, and to this day people say Kim Taeyeon is all natural, along with her other teammates in Girls Generation and I gasp so hard because pre debut cosmetics is a MUST. No exception. And I'm not even going to talk about Aespa's face transformation. Or even BTS who besides not having the face transf as a result of being scrutinized by HYBE STAFF or even "Fans", still they felt the need to do minor cosmetics, rhinoplasty which is the most common beside idols, or even the chin implants which is also very common to make your chin in the V Line. If I'm going to be honest, saying 30% of the K-Pop Industry MAXIMUM didn't do very big changes with Plastic Surgery, but only minor cosmetics (Botox, Lip fillers etc). Maybe 5-10% is all natural MAYBE. And it's no big deal. They don't deny it, but also don't say it either bc of their respective company or because they bluntly know that what holds their fans is their face and body. If you have the dance, singing and visuals, well you're the "Ace". But we're talking about K-Pop where majority of groups don't have all the skills, but their beauty and personality. K-Pop never is about true talent, and nobody can ever make my mind. First they see the body and face, THEN they'll evaluate your talent. But, even if you're just pretty they'll criticize, so you'll constantly have to prove your point. K-Pop is merely for people who don't have nothing to do with their lives, so they can be obsessed about you. You can be the pretty with minor talent that people feel bad because you don't have any talent, or be the Ugly with a good personality but talent, yet people will never talk about the actual talent unless you become pretty. Talent rarely actually matters. Only for people who actually listens to music besides K-Pop and knows what a actual performer and singer is. submitted by /u/po_pov [link] [comments]

2.344. Pet peeve: when fans parrot everything an idol say on social media

  • 3 weeks ago schedule

“X said this on bubble” “X said this on instagram” “X said this on Weverse” “X said fans should do this. If you don’t listen to X, you are not a real fan” “X said fans should not do this.” “X said this about the company so we should feel the same way” “X says he hates this so I hate it too” even if I don’t follow a group, I hear so much about X that it turns me off from them and it’s not their fault. submitted by /u/taejinkook28 [link] [comments]
