I was scrolling through TikTok and came across this clip of Tarzzan reciting lyrics to Playboi Carti's LIKE WEEZY. The thing is, the actual lyrics donât include the N-word. But in the clip, it sounds like Tarzzan might have replaced the word âboyâ with it. If thatâs really what happened, it makes the whole thing even more weird and uncomfortable. Itâs one thing to quote a song, but throwing in a word that wasnât even there? Thatâs a choice. I honestly have no idea what THEBLACKLABEL is doing at this point. submitted by /u/Carelessies [link] [comments]

If you pay attention to HYBEâs kpop tours, thereâs very clear patterns: Their tours are lately generally 6 months or less in terms of tour length. Definitely tours lately donât last a year. Enhypenâs Walk The Line is an exception and Coachella probably played a role since they couldnât tour the US until after. Key markets for touring are Korea, Japan, US, and South Asia. Europe seems to be getting some love as TXT and Enhypen are going. Mexico is also getting love from J-Hope and LSFM. But both arenât consistent enough yet to be key markets. Short notice timing prior to US tour dates happening. I think generally theyâre the worse among the big 4 for notice timing for their major/group tours. They give max 3-4 months generally but even as little as 2 months as they are doing for TXT and Seventeen. Now this is all relevant as it heavily affects tour planning. Clearly HYBE wants annual tours as seen with TXT and Enhypen who have been on tour since 2022. I think partially due to BTS enlisting so they needed to do everything to ensure their financials werenât heavily impacted from their biggest revenue driver being gone. If you have to tour every year and also do a ton of new albums and other activities then you donât have time to do extensive tours hence why HYBE tours usually just hit the same key markets because they donât have time to go everywhere. Iâve seen a lot of people talk about how other kpop groups go to other countries that HYBE groups donât so they have âno excuseâ. Well thereâs different business strategies and expectations. If HYBE groups donât have a lot of touring time, obviously theyâre going to prioritize their key markets. For example, JYPE might be ok touring everywhere as they want to reach all possible plans but that doesnât make it a key goal for HYBE. Letâs makeup numbers and say an arena show in Europe makes like 2M euros on average (again fake numbers just to prove a point). JYPE might be completely fine with this but it might not be financially enough for HYBE for whatever reason. I get HYBE is made up of different independent labels but financial planning is consolidated at the parent level and is reported that way. They are definitely given guidance towards financial goals and have to act accordingly with those. The short notice when it comes to US/western tour dates is most likely due to the short tour length so once Korea concerts happen, very soon they have to tour other places immediately. They wonât announce any tour dates until Seoul is announced which is only 1-2 months prior to the concert happening. This becomes a problem if the US is right after Seoul because they wonât have a lot of notice time. Thatâs whatâs happening with TXT and SVT. People say US venues are booked possibly a year in advance. Itâs absolutely nuts to have these venues booked for so long but give so little notice because they donât announce tours far in advance. I wonder if it would be better off to announce tours prior to new albums even being announced. Such as ATEEZ and Blackpink did. This way it gives fans in general more notice. Anyways Iâm not a fan of how HYBE conducts their tours but just wanted to make this post so fans were aware of their trends and plan accordingly. And also donât get their expectations too high in regards to tour dates⌠submitted by /u/blueberryicecream88 [link] [comments]
I saw a few of her fancams from blackpinks new tour and I canât help but notice her energy and facial expressions seem like they have gotten better. Jisoo has never been a bad performer, her dancing does sometimes hold her back but sheâs always been consistent. However I do think her energy last tour seemed more reserved and she maybe seemed a bit unsure with her performance. I wonder if sheâs happier with her new solo songs, but also during group performances I noticed an improvement. Before if she were performing next to Lisa there would have been a more noticeable difference in energy, but I saw a recent clip of them performing next to each other and I thought they matched each other perfectly. I donât know if itâs just me but there seems to be a new type of confidence around her, and itâs very refreshing to see. submitted by /u/M0us3Cheezz [link] [comments]

This will most likely never happen due to some fans truly not caring, but ideally we as fans should really boycott ticket master when it comes to these tours. It's absolutely ridiculous the amount of money they are charging per ticket PLUS a unnecessary service fee PLUS tax within the U.S. Ticket prices in Asia and Europe are way cheaper simply because of their laws against dynamic pricing, but of course kpop companies decide to mainly go through ticket master making the whole concert experience way more unfavorable to north Americans. I understand concerts are a privilege and not a right, but damn we should at least fight for better pricing regulations when everyone else is getting it cheaper than us ! submitted by /u/MochaMilku [link] [comments]

Am I the only one who thinks adp would make it far? I mean yes the braids thing kinda irks me but it is not part of my culture and it is not something I can call them out on but babe his natural wavy hair makes him look so FINE can they keep it like that I feel like there is such a debate about Youngseo and Bailey ending up in ADP but I could not have imagined them anywhere else, the entire concept of the group was each member has a distinct identity and I feel like you can make that out immediately even as a non-fan. K-pop obviously stemming from South Korea would def need netizens to tune in and like them and so far they are so well received there maybe even more than internationally The co-ed group idea was initially kinda rocky but tbl has formed the group in such a nice way that adp has a high chance to be one of the best in their generation The first encore they had after winning really shows how great performers they are which is really hard to find in a kpop group (in retrospect that there are 50+ groups debuting every year) but they interact with the crowd, can sing well and keep the energy up. This group is meant to hit big, not only because of the members and their individual accomplishments (which is insane btw) but also as a group if tbl plays their cards right, they could have both an internationally and domestically popular group which is not a common sight to see submitted by /u/Gullible_Ad_9465 [link] [comments]
