Not in terms of stage presence or performance abilities, but more general charisma, bankability, the ability to stand out etc. Someone who naturally appeals to audiences and can get them to tune in, whether to interviews, advertisements, or other promotions. submitted by /u/etoilez [link] [comments]
ang dama pero I sold one of my favorite photocard and it's a limited PC na nakipag transact pa Ako sa Korean sellers noon. Naalala nyo ba Yung pandemic non tapos nauso Yung video call fan sign events, tapos kada events may pa pob.
- a really random thought I had while watching Love Island tbh... idk why but just thought Intak from P1H would slay here... think he'd last and actually find love and would bring good TV - could see Xiaoting on America's Next Top Model... she has got that aura & confidence to me - Feel like Seulgi would be great on The Traitors just cuz I never know with her... feel like she could fool them all and win - Jennie on the bachelor would be so insane... I don't watch but I fear I'd have to tune in if that ever came true. Just cuz there would be so many ppl that would sign up. submitted by /u/Major-Specialist3658 [link] [comments]
Just wanted to try this for fun! I listen to most groups and soloists throughout all gens. For background snsd was my first ult group (I think before ult group was even a term😭) then shinee, then bts and now enhypen and loona (yves, chuu, loosemble, artms) are my ults. tbh I’m just yapping just trying to beat the word count. This post is mostly inspired by Jongho from ateez. He has a great voice and I always love his parts in ateez's discography, but I think his lines are sometimes repetitive. He always gets THE high note in the song and that's usually it. If you listen to a handful of ateez songs in a row, it just feels like the same thing in different fonts lol. He has a super strong and powerful voice, but I feel like they could showcase his voice in different contexts once in a while. Do you agree/Are there any other idols you feel like have the same vibe? submitted by /u/ShinyFlower19 [link] [comments]
Someone submitted a false report against Lara on the ICE tip hotline. Said person also threatened to make another report against Daniela. Mind you, both are legal US citizens. This is such a disgusting thing to do to someone. Hopefully nothing comes of it. submitted by /u/Ordinary_Gap623 [link] [comments]
So before I start: I've been into Kpop since early 2015 (when I was 12yrs old) and BigBang+ BTS got me into Kpop. I feel like I always valued the relationships that fandoms had with their Idol Group. But I feel like all the new gen idol groups being on tiktok, following every micro tiktok trend, being on chatting apps where you can pay to chat with a memberis too much. Don't get me wrong. I am okay with apps like weverse but I feel like there should still be border between fandom and idol group? Like I love seeing my faves on my timeline but its just too much when I see them on tiktok constantly- following every little micro trend. I also don't need my idol group on my timeline dancing a snippet of their newest music with 34209203 different idols. I know it's just for song promotion but still- something about it just feels too much. I'd rather have a youtube video, a behind the scenes video or a video in which they just play games together, dance practices, interviews and that's enough. Sometimes I even wonder if they even have time to breath whenever I see these idol-chatting apps countless tiktoks etc. idk if anyone gets me but yeah... I'd love to have a conversation about that. submitted by /u/gt86xv [link] [comments]
Don't jump me but it's just the vibe I get. Maybe it's a natural disparity created by global fame or maybe it's recency bias but I feel like among top groups, their Korean fandom seems the least loyal and also kind of not as vocal? Especially for a top group. I feel like a lot of their Korean fans moved onto other groups during the hiatus or just moved on in general, and their international fandom actually seems to be a bit more loyal in comparison to their Korean one which is a bit strange because it's usually reversed for kpop groups. Like the I-side still slacked off during hiatus which is natural, but I feel like they'd still have random bursts of support like would do listening parties from time to time and trend stuff and whatnot but it feels like the K-side is just... crickets. Kind of makes me think they won't do that well on korean charts/platforms in the future. Not saying they have no korean fandom at all, I just feel like they are not as supportive anymore and no longer do the usual fan activities. Even some smaller groups have Korean fandoms that are more active and vocal than them. Even fandoms of older groups or previous top groups. I mean the Korean side of groups like EXO, BB, SUJU, Shinee, SVT, etc., seem more vocal and active at times. submitted by /u/oddv8gue [link] [comments]
Currently I've been loving the instrumental of Ice on My Teeth by Ateez and XO by Enhypen. 7th Sense, 4 Walls, Move, Black Swan and 11:11 are some of my other all time favourites. submitted by /u/Chutneysandwich16 [link] [comments]
Dont get me wrong she is talented but her overall carisma does not fit in BM. Her dansing is to much she is sxreaming insted of rapping. But she has great talent for maybe badvillan. I know this can be considerd bullying and I think that she is a great girl irl. Ps this is only my opinion and im younger that her si plzz dobt hate on me submitted by /u/weweweHj [link] [comments]

KiiiKiii and Hearts2Hearts [RANKING] This is my personal ranking of the two 5th gen girlgroups that I'm currently obsessed with. Now my current group I'm stanning is mainly KiiiKiii but this ranking won't be bias. This is also not a comparison just a fun ranking. I'll be ranking on music, popularity, styling (keeping visuals out of it but expressing how it compliments their outfits) and then giving my opinion on where I think they will go from here. Again just my opinion you don't have to care or agree. Music KiiiKiii Hearts2Hearts I do think "The Chase" is more of a grower song for me despite the fact everyone loves it so much and while it is a bop, I prefer "Butterflies" but then again my attention span is terrible so i do really need a song that instantly grabs me. I'm not even referring to "I DO ME" specifically here, since I don't prefer that song over Butterflies at all. but I find that this happened with me on almost all songs on Uncut Gem for that reason, the hooks were just catchier and pulled me in quicker. To me "Butterflies" sounded like the hit not "The Chase" I'm sorry and since it is the lead single I would say KiiiKiii's lead single is better. Styling Hearts2Hearts KiiiKiii Don't get me wrong KiiiKiii are all beautiful girls and this whole ranking is very subjective but..I didn't like any of their outfits. I get that it's supposed to be quirky and fun and outgoing looks but I just wasn't impressed but it did go well with theur visuals. Meanwhile I am so here for Hearts2Hearts styling, its just perfect so cute and minimalistic but still really pretty and really fits their gorgeous visuals too, HAVE YOU SEEN CARMEN?? Popularity Hearts2Hearts KiiiKiii They only just debuted but it's no secret KiiiKiii only really hit it domestically and that's been it so far. Hearts2Hearts definitely have more international fans than KiiiKiii does and are also doing better in that market. Winner: it's basically a tie cause popularity can change so drastically especially in k-pop but one group's styling is better and one group's music is better IN MY OPINION. Where I see them going from now? I think KiiiKiii will do good as girl crush. BTG is amazing and I would really like to see them do something like Itzy since I feel like the concepts are similar in the way that they both are quirky and fun. Hearts2Hearts will be a great cute concept group, leaning more into those schoolgirl styles and just slay the house down. I really do see them becoming even bigger but I feel like considering the multiple bangers KiiiKiii has on their belt, KiiiKiii might just become bigger. Regardless I will continue to listen to Uncut Gem EP and "Butterflies" on repeat and if you haven't checked them out...what are you doing??? submitted by /u/p0pcultured [link] [comments]
Because some of these lines are making me pity the poor members who were forced to sing it (The lyrics don't have to be in the same song/by the same group) submitted by /u/Maleficent-Pay-214 [link] [comments]
Saw this shirt and this brand URTE KAT getting popular within idol styling. IVE Yujin,Kiss Of Life Julie, and one of the member from P-Nation new gg wearing same shirt. Thought it look beautiful Also i think there's another 3 idol who also wear the exact shirt or the another version which is in gray. Who do you think that wear this shirt also. Also will this be the "What did i do last night" yellow shirt,The donut hoodie and the butterfly crop top. I think this shirt is so cute and i think any idol can pull it off. Also it cost hella expensive, it cost about 172$. submitted by /u/MitchXWeebyForever [link] [comments]

So I kinda thought this during "Burn" but with "Icarus" I'm sold. It looks like Icarus era is a big win for them, and I can see it. Apparently their extended length MV is a hit, at 4M views in 2 days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-bEGflpV9k. I think we have a couple looks at the group choreo from music shows, https://youtu.be/4gbXkU1j54A and https://youtu.be/qNSNPxnla1U Here's "Burn" at a local news show https://youtu.be/_mPRQRSRh2M it's slight potato but I wound up really liking this small stage, close to static camera view. Just sharing what I've noticed from "Icarus" as not really a dance/choreo person but seeing a lot of details I like: Very flowy, very elegant, quick, feels precise. Most of the arm motions carry through into the wrist and hand position. It has some concept nods like bow and arrow and angel/wing shapes. I've felt the girls have decent stage presence instinct with winks and nods and stuff. Pretty complex with a lot of use of the stage space instead of being sync intensive. There's a lot of motion going on all the time. Some of these moves with touch down to knees and back standing up are not too easy, like I don't think every kpop dance group could get this one. This is interesting to me because didn't they all debut in gen3, like, before the bar got really high with kpop girl group dance? They had to work their butts off for this lol submitted by /u/abyssazaur [link] [comments]
