Bet On Me: Believing in yourself. When you're not quite sure you can do it, and you're not sure if everyone else will approve, you stay confident in you. You can do it! It's okay to mess up sometimes, to make mistakes and fail. What's important is that you get back up. It's okay to be afraid. Just believe in yourself, even if no one else will. Bet on you. Sugar-holic: Some days are harder than others, and that's okay. It's okay if you can't accomplish everything you want to. Count your blessings instead. It's another new day, and you're still making progress. It doesn't matter how much, progress is progress, you've done a good job. There's a brightside in every situation. When you get used to finding it, finding those little things, you'll feel much better, even when you stumble and fall. Appreciate yourself. Sneakers: Running means freedom. It's how you express yourself. So what if other people think you're weird? Why should you care what they think? Make your own way forward. Live your life on your terms, in a way only you can. They say you can't dance? They say your voice is terrible? They call you a pick-me? They say your performance is cringe? They say your music sucks? I say who gives a damn! Put your sneakers on, and go your own way! You'll make it to the top no matter what they say! Itzy has many beautiful songs, but the core message is the same. Dare to be different. Dare to be you in every way. Be crazy in love, be untouchable, be confident, know what you want, know who you are. You're on fire! You're the toughest, most awesome guy/gal around! Don't be shy, put your crown on your head! Learn to love yourself and see the person you become. Be unashamedly you, because if you won't be, who will? Look in the mirror and who do you see? 6/7 Bts members were discharged yesterday and quite literally 95% of the fandom was just focusing on bts and their weverse lives. May I know the reason why kpop fans, especially on reddit villainize armys for what 2% of the fandom and solos do? Why are armys called every name under the book while claiming themselves to be "feminists"? No, stanning a girl group will not make you a feminist, bringing up a fandom filled with women of all ages and blaming them for every single thing actually makes you a misogynist. So many K-pop fans will claim to be feminist or progressive until it comes to BTS or armys. Then suddenly it’s open season to tear women down because they dared to love something unapologetically. No one's saying all armys are angels, but you guys sure do paint all armys as devils submitted by /u/blueblah1221 [link] [comments]

Okay before I get flamed by anyone, let me just say that I really enjoy a lot of their older music, and I still support the girls and whatever they release. In no way do I mean this as a personal criticism of any of the I-dle members. Buttt…. their recent title tracks haven’t really stuck with me. I know Good Thing has a more second-gen sound, but it just feels so basic and repetitive to me. Klaxon is a similar story. Compared to older title tracks like Nxde, Hann, Queencard, and dare I say Wife, they don’t stick out to me at all. I’ve had better luck with some of their B-sides, but as a casual listener, title tracks are usually what I’m exposed to, and what I mostly listen to. If I don’t like the title track, I’m a lot less inclined to listen to the other songs on an album. I really love I-dle and I want to enjoy their music, but I feel like I’m missing out on something. Everyone else seems to love their newer title tracks, so am I the only one who thinks this? submitted by /u/tourmalinefigurine [link] [comments]
This isn’t a defense of sasaengs, let’s be clear. But I’m genuinely asking: why are fans still expected to care more about idols’ privacy than the idols themselves? Haechan in particular has been caught on multiple occasions responding to known sasengs, giving them gifts, and even hooking up with them. And he also tells them to stop calling or sets a boundary (which is completely valid) only to turn around and engages anyway. So if he’s not consistent about drawing the line, why should I be? As fans, we’re expected to hate sasaengs, block them, and never interact, but if our faves themselves are interacting with them willingly, Why should I care? Aren’t they no different than a friend or hook up buddy at this point? The double standards confusing. Are sasaengs stalkers or your friends? Are we supposed to treat them as serious violators of privacy, or acknowledge that the idol’s inconsistent boundaries are what keep them around? Are they actual threats, or just fans who figured out how to get close and never got told “no”? Are they terrifying threats to idol safety — or just lucky enough to get a callback? It raises a bigger question: If idols want the sasaeng behavior to stop, why do they reward it? And more importantly why should I care? I’m tired of giving grown men a pass while we dogpile teenage girls for leaking something the idol responded to willingly. This post isn’t just limited to nct though, i’m pretty sure The Boyz is currently something through something. Discuss Not an anti. Not a sasaeng defender. Just a fan who’s done playing police when the people at the center of it all are sending mixed messages submitted by /u/existenceoverrated [link] [comments]

Lately, almost all the BTS-related get taken down very quickly. Even the major events like them being discharged two days in a row and 12th anniversary. Nearly every post related to these events got mass reported or was removed. These aren’t low-effort or spammy posts—they’re significant moments in the group’s career. What makes this even more ironic is that some people here complain that there are “too many BTS posts” on the sub. But how can that be true when almost every single one gets removed within hours? Like it or not, BTS is a kpop group and they have the biggest fandom. It is their month, let people post in peace. Also a few hours ago someone made a post to celebrate BTS’s 12th anniversary, and it was of course removed. As a response, ARMYs ended up posting two more anniversary posts just to try and keep the message visible. So if you feel like you’re seeing “too many BTS posts,” it’s probably because they keep getting taken down—and fans keep reposting in response. It’s a loop created by the removals themselves. This sub is supposed to be for all K-pop fans. Why some fandoms are overly sensitive when BTS is mentioned? submitted by /u/Accurate_Entrance227 [link] [comments]
I’ve been listening to nct wish lately and I can’t tell their voices apart for the life of me. Jaehee and sion have very distinct voices but every other members sounds the same to me? I can tell riku is rapping but if he sings I have no idea Sakuya also i can differentiate when rapping but other than that i have no idea. Yushi and Ryos voices to me are a little nasally but again i can’t tell them apart, does anyone have tips to differentiate them? submitted by /u/existenceoverrated [link] [comments]
Genuinely asking because people I know are drooling all over their recent comeback and the numbers are doing suprisingly well as well. Is forgiving and moving on the general consensus or are people still against watching or streaming anything of theirs? submitted by /u/Gold_Meaning3688 [link] [comments]
Let's leave aside whether you believe they're a thing or not. I can NOT stand the way so many people are just tearing this woman apart because of the very real possibility that she's dating their favorite idol. I would hope most of those commenters are insecure 10 year olds, but unfortunately there's actual adults that genuinely think it's normal to talk about another woman like that. I'm an Army and I don't really consider myself a Blink, yet I think army's are so much more toxic anytime this topic gets brought up while Blinks are relatively normal about it. It's funny too because a lot of comments I've seen are about how Jennie is just asking for attention somehow when the entire reason the rumours started was because V accidentally followed HER. (not that he should have gotten hate for that obviously, just a bit of a weird leap fans made there) The 'V would never go out with someone like her' comments are also strange... they are both idols (therefor can relate to each other in that aspect), have the same passion, are both extremely attractive, around the same age and have probably bumped into each other multiple times in the spans of their careers... I've heard of stranger combinations lol I really hope BTS continue to be a bit more laid back when mentioning their dating life or something because I am sick and tired of these fans (and I wouldn't mind my tickets to be a bit cheaper iykwim) submitted by /u/Due_Improvement_5699 [link] [comments]

TWELVE YEARS AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME! submitted by /u/Brilliant_Rub_5206 [link] [comments]
Sorry for being so harsh, but I was so annoyed that everyone was saying 'Lia is this and that' 'Lia is a bad dancer' 'Lia blah blah blah', but fail to recognise that she had a part to play in Itzy's rise to fame. A LOT of people always say that Itzy fell off after sneakers, but I really don't think that was the entire reasoning. I really really loved sneakers (I know a lot of people didn't) but regardless, I do not really remember hearing anything about Itzy to the point I was literally wondering. wth where's Itzy only to realise that Lia went on hiatus after sneakers era and even though they were still making songs they weren't getting any traction like before, you know WHEN LIA WAS THERE!!! Obviously I'm not saying she's the only person that matters in the group or that they all depend on her, of course not they are all extremely talented women and their solos were absolutely amazing, but it seemed like everyone was not interested and they couldn't make numbers like their Loco era. But think to rn when 'air' came out and 'girls will be girls' like I've heard so much about their new songs, and I know Lia came back like last year June or July, but it seems like they are regaining traction. It's so upsetting to see "FANS" complain about a member so much that they are happy for them to go on hiatus, only for them to exit the fandom as soon as said member goes on hiatus, instead only saying the group is dead and they fell off. EVERY 👏 MEMBER👏 HAS 👏A 👏PART👏 TO PLAY👏 IN 👏THE 👏GROUP. And even if you can't see that, their presence still stays there empty, and I feel Itzy showed that clearly. Of course there are some groups that still do amazingly well after a member left, like G-idle and Stray Kids, but Kim Woojin left BEFORE they got big. The same thing with G-idle, their songs 'Queencard' 'Nude' and 'Tomboy' were made after Soojin was made to leave, those songs were their most popular and I feel like they got bigger AFTER Soojin left so her loss wasn't really felt, and didn't impact the popularity of the group as much as Lia did Itzy. Btw this is not me putting down other members of Itzy, or members from other groups. I'm just simply trying to say when a group gets big, everyone comes to know and love that group in that certain way (with those members and their vibe)and hating on one member because a person thinks they are a place holder makes NO SENSE as they ALL equally played a role in making the group what it is. EVEN IF YOU CANNOT SEE EXACTLY HOW THEY HELPED. And these people seem to forget that practice is a thing, like not everyone is good at something as soon as they're born. The best dancers/singers in K-pop definitely weren't the best dancers/singers their entire lives, they worked to get to where they are. not every single K-pop Idol can be an all-rounder, and if you think that 'someone is a bad dancer' 'someone is a bad singer' 'someone has bad stage presence' FINE that is your opinion but they still add something to the group, and they can always work on their weaknesses. submitted by /u/Haunting_Play4959 [link] [comments]
