Hi all, I was hoping to get clarification on why I am seeing some tickets on StubHub that are different from the seats listed on Ticketmaster. Is each platform allotted different tickets? Or does that happen because of where the individual posts it for resale? For reference, I am trying to get tickets to go see Jin in Anaheim and noticed different tickets listed at different prices on both platforms which is throwing me off and making me wonder if the tickets are real. Thanks! submitted by /u/strugglingITstudent [link] [comments]
It’s so interesting how intentional KATSEYE’s eras feel in terms of audience appeal: 1. Debut – This era was clearly aimed at their original fanbase who followed them from “Dream Academy.” 2. Touch – This song is very K-pop coded and seems to be crafted specifically to connect with Asian audiences. 3. Gnarly – This is probably their trickiest era of all, as the song is a mix of hyperpop and experimental sounds. However, it paved the way to show that KATSEYE is a truly versatile group. I also think they aimed for this song to be more trend-driven—and it successfully was. 4. Gabriela – This track is clearly intended to resonate with the Latin American audience. They’re really embracing the global in “global girl group,” and I absolutely love that. submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]
I like to enjoy the little things in life and find meaning to them. Being a Mexican growing up in the 90-00's I love the concept, the Spanish translation in the video and the way they portrayed really well the telenovela aesthetic and the ridiculousness of it. It also feels really nice to see an international (usa based) pop group doing this kind of stuff giving the current issues surrounding Latino people and culture in the USA. So it really felt nice, you know, to get to see this fun lighthearted approach to a very goofy part of our culture. Besides that... The vocals?! The visuals?! The coreo?! Jeez!! I loved everything. But what I love the most was Manon trying to hold her laugh at 1:34, and Dani's verse in Spanish. Mi gente Latino! What did you think about the MV and the song? submitted by /u/Quejumbrosam [link] [comments]
I’m making a playlist that gives very strong Jaeyi friendly rivalry vibes. Like very mysterious luxurious and slightly haunting. I only have four songs so far so if anyone has any recs that they think would go perfectly PLEASEE lmk!!! 🩷💗 submitted by /u/Big-Inevitable-2515 [link] [comments]

Its safe to say that most "rumors" are complete bogus, but which ones do you feel have at least a kernel of truth to them? submitted by /u/Lost-Investigator266 [link] [comments]

Have you guys listened to Hearts2Hearts new song “Style”? I thought I really enjoyed it, but I saw a lot of Korean reviews saying the song was just fine. Tbh I was a bit surprised, and when I asked my friend about it, he also said it was just fine. He thinks Red Velvet’s “Psycho” is really good but I thought “Psycho” was just okay, though I know it was a huge hit. I guess I just have uncommon taste in a lot of things, not just music but also clothes etc. Whenever my friends pick clothes for me, the feedback is usually better than when i choose them myself. submitted by /u/Far_Diet_4229 [link] [comments]
I'm a casual YG listener I mainly stan BLACKPINK, they're the only group whose full albums I listen to from a YG group. But during the 2nd gen; what was it like stanning YG groups? the good, the bad etc. submitted by /u/jdpm1991 [link] [comments]
I recently watched the MV for THEBLACKLABELS new group. I don't want to get too much into my own opinions of them, since that's not what I'm interested in. The long and short of it is, I liked Youngseo on RUnext, I was vaguely interested in what she had got into, and I knew they recruited some guy called Tarzan who got them all in hot water because he's giving himself traction alopecia. Much of the response to the debut that I've seen is, "Oh, the song is not as bad as I thought it would be!" This somewhat piques my curiosity, though. I don't think the song quality really matters at all when we are looking at blatant and intense cultural appropriation. But, here's my main point, or at least the thing I'd like to see some other perspectives on. The Tarzan guy has gotten called out before in other groups MVs and he doesn't give two shits. Everyone knew what this group was going to be like since YG has always had a history of this bullshit. When they've got a high budget, flashy editing, and famous members, do K-Pop stans even care, though? I feel like the general consensus is "I'd rather be a Day 1 fan of a group that is guaranteed to do well, at least in Korea, than have any sense of a fucking backbone at all." This keeps getting repeated, and the more it happens, and the more people who accept companies shitty apologies on social media, the more this behavior gets normalized and encouraged. If the members weren't already known, and they weren't under a big company, I find it hard to believe that this would be so easily pushed aside. I believe that stan culture encourages putting para-social relationships above personal morals, but I'd like to hear other perspectives on it because the echo chamber has genuinely shocked me. submitted by /u/navillere [link] [comments]

The street woman fighter sub Reddit wont let me post about it so I am here. I don't know if there will be people here to listen but I just need an outlet to let it all out, because I'm so fucking tired. Maybe it's because I only see the international side and don't see the Korean side of the audiences, my feed is full of hate comments towards Bumsup. Bumsup have been getting hate even before the show aired. All this assumptions about them winning the show because mnet won't let foreigners win. The assumption that these Non-Korean dancers were far ahead of them in every aspect to exist. The assumption that Bumsup are getting sympathy edits as if they weren't put under stress for the show at all. It is only bad judgement when it rules in favour for Bumsup but it isn't a bad judgement when Hyojin loses against harmz (who was obviously the weaker one there). They get undermined every single episode no matter how good or bad they do. I won't complain about the worst dancer fiasco because I do not agree with the Rie Hata hate either but I do believe honey J was just unlucky on this one. Honey J had a better choreo in my opinion but I'm not mad about that, I'm mad about the fact that even after showing her high points she was constantly disrespected by these audience for not giving it all in few instances. People have more sympathy for the group that recycled their old choreos for every piece of dance performance they showed wether it be a battle or mission. Even when Bumsup do great, they're undermined. They had the best mega crew mission (argue with a wall not me), yet everyone is still like oh they had big budget, oh they just copied 1 million (1 million's concept is so effing different from Bumsup), oh mnet is going to make them win, oh Koreans are going to push the video, even after performing the effing best. It just feels like racism/xenophobic at this point. Another one that I remember is when some of the Bumsup members were talking about how the other dancers have big hips, and everyone lost their minds over it. They're talking about how their moves might not look as impactful. As someone who dances, your body does affect how your overall performance looks. It's not like a good/bad thing. It could look good in some instance and bad in other: tall people or people with long limbs could look awkward sometimes when put next to someone shorter or with shorter limbs. In the same way a small person might not look as powerful when putting the same amount of energy as a big person while dancing. I'm even ready to admit that maybe that statement was still distasteful because why should they talk about someone else's body, but when there were comments made about Bumsup's physical appearance I didn't hear a squeak. Aiki was called Chucky's daughter unprompted. If we're going to criticize Bumsup for making comments about someone's appearance, the same should be done when someone else does it, but I really didn't see that from these international fans. By the end of the show, even if Bumsup improves and performs better and comes in top 3 instead of winning, people are still going to undermine them. I just feel so much rage and anger for them. One last thing that I really don't understand is, if you think it is rigged, why watch it in the first place? Why talk about the show? Why give mnet the clout? I have nothing but appreciation for all the dancers that came on this show. I'm just really really tired of the Bumsup hate train that nobody wants to talk about. submitted by /u/West_Yesterday1053 [link] [comments]
It hasn't even been a week since Taehyung got out of the military that people have started to ship. Taehyung post a post on his story with the song Jeje and people started to think he was confirming the fact that he is with Jennie; also the fact that Jennie posted a picture of a teddy bear and they started to think it was about V, the cake that Taehyung got right after military " I'm happy to be with you" people speculated it was from Jennie, when it could have been a friend or family. On Taehyung insta post he got a blue teddy keychain, similar to the one Jennie posted in 2021, and people said they were confirming their relationship. Taehyung posting a picture of him goofing and people are saying the outfit is similar to one he had on the photo of him and Jennie. I have seen comment being like " ohh they need to get married" " they should confirm it to everyone" "They are making it so obvious that they are together" " Why would they have and like similar things if they're not together" and many more. I'm not saying they are not dating, They probably are, or they probably broke up already. My issue is that none of them can post something without people saying it's about each other. People will always speculated that they are trying to make their relationship obvious. Taennie shippers are pushing it to hard, it is 2025, move on, stop trying to connect the dots that don't need to be connected 😭, like there is about 10k vidéo about Jennie and V already right after he came back, like guys please. My friends have all flirted and teased their biases but it's so weird when you only have 1 minute to talk 😆 and you've never met her/him before. I think the easiest thing for me is to just show appreciation.. idols love it when their talents are acknowledged. submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]
