i really don't mean this to be hateful towards any groups bc i fuck up at my job too sometimes. i'm just curious to see some of examples of when a group that is typically someone's taste, does something that's not their taste. please share a single/title track from your favorite group that you didnt like! submitted by /u/Relevant_Loan2278 [link] [comments]

I don't know if it was the audience, but they were emotionless, and the groups seemed tired. Maybe it was also the concept of the songs, but everything felt soulless. I like both groups, and they're good, but everything felt soulless. It's just my opinion, don't take it personally! submitted by /u/Separate-Comedian-25 [link] [comments]

Mine was lalalala by Stray Kids. I found it scary lol but also cool. Still avoided going back to it for a few months before I finally gave it another chance and embraced it. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

There's this clip that's been circulating on tiktok recently of Wonyoung going in to pick up an award and Yujin (the leader) of IVE taking it. Pretty benign considering it was likely a matter of miscommunication, with the both of them going on to give speeches for each of their wins, Yujin for their SOTY and Wony for AOTY that night, anyway. But almost all of the comments are "dives" hating on Wonyoung?? Calling her botched, narcissistic, etc. The pick-me comments have been happening since debut, ik, but from her own fandom is crazy. It's genuinely giving OT5 with how some of them talk about her. Like they cant bring up Yujin, Rei, Gaeul, Leeseo and ESPECIALLY Liz (all beautiful and talented girls in their own right), without dragging Wonyoung to filth. Now as popular as the group is, Wonyoung is in another league. That much is obvious, especially with the GP, her taking over after Yoona as the face of Innisfree all but cementing it. But the hate is genuinely insane. Ik some solos can brutal, BTS Maknae line, Choi line moas and Sunoo solos tend to come to mind as a army/moa/engene. But it feels like the diet solos are HEAVY in the fandom for IVE. Any dives in the comments pls let me know yalls thoughts bcs it genuinely shocked me seeing this much hate thrown Wonyoung's way by her own fandom. submitted by /u/Individual-Owl-7097 [link] [comments]
I’m new to Kpop so maybe that’s why I don’t really understand, and I’d love some insight. It might just be my algorithm, but I see a lot of hate for when girl groups do aegyo, and then praise for when boy groups do it. I see a lot of people say for boy groups it’s ‘natural’ or ‘not cringe,’ so I was just curious why people don’t feel the same for girl groups. submitted by /u/Definitelynotacatx [link] [comments]

W Korea did not hold up a gun to any idol's head and say "You better not try and spread awareness for breast cancer". Two things can be true. The event was horribly organized and lots of the idols messed up. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

For me, 00:00 (Zero O’Clock), by BTS, is one of those songs. Even though it is calm, it gives a feeling of deep loneliness, as if you were completely alone in the world, just reflecting on everything. It's beautiful, but at the same time it sends a chill down your spine. And you? Which K‑Pop song gives you this strange feeling? submitted by /u/Fun-Diver-6166 [link] [comments]
