Mine was lalalala by Stray Kids. I found it scary lol but also cool. Still avoided going back to it for a few months before I finally gave it another chance and embraced it. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

There's this clip that's been circulating on tiktok recently of Wonyoung going in to pick up an award and Yujin (the leader) of IVE taking it. Pretty benign considering it was likely a matter of miscommunication, with the both of them going on to give speeches for each of their wins, Yujin for their SOTY and Wony for AOTY that night, anyway. But almost all of the comments are "dives" hating on Wonyoung?? Calling her botched, narcissistic, etc. The pick-me comments have been happening since debut, ik, but from her own fandom is crazy. It's genuinely giving OT5 with how some of them talk about her. Like they cant bring up Yujin, Rei, Gaeul, Leeseo and ESPECIALLY Liz (all beautiful and talented girls in their own right), without dragging Wonyoung to filth. Now as popular as the group is, Wonyoung is in another league. That much is obvious, especially with the GP, her taking over after Yoona as the face of Innisfree all but cementing it. But the hate is genuinely insane. Ik some solos can brutal, BTS Maknae line, Choi line moas and Sunoo solos tend to come to mind as a army/moa/engene. But it feels like the diet solos are HEAVY in the fandom for IVE. Any dives in the comments pls let me know yalls thoughts bcs it genuinely shocked me seeing this much hate thrown Wonyoung's way by her own fandom. submitted by /u/Individual-Owl-7097 [link] [comments]
I’m new to Kpop so maybe that’s why I don’t really understand, and I’d love some insight. It might just be my algorithm, but I see a lot of hate for when girl groups do aegyo, and then praise for when boy groups do it. I see a lot of people say for boy groups it’s ‘natural’ or ‘not cringe,’ so I was just curious why people don’t feel the same for girl groups. submitted by /u/Definitelynotacatx [link] [comments]

W Korea did not hold up a gun to any idol's head and say "You better not try and spread awareness for breast cancer". Two things can be true. The event was horribly organized and lots of the idols messed up. submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

For me, 00:00 (Zero O’Clock), by BTS, is one of those songs. Even though it is calm, it gives a feeling of deep loneliness, as if you were completely alone in the world, just reflecting on everything. It's beautiful, but at the same time it sends a chill down your spine. And you? Which K‑Pop song gives you this strange feeling? submitted by /u/Fun-Diver-6166 [link] [comments]

(only for the non-sensible fans) (About the event which was apparently organised for BC awareness") The level of delusion is crazy. " He/she actually left early☝🏻🤓" or "they didn't drink unlike the X idol!" Or "Look at your fav! He was literally dancing!? My fav was just standing in a corner! Omg he's so respectful 🥺" And don't even get me started on how some of the idol/ actors did the bare minimum like mentioning a single Sentence about BC or wearing a pink dress and then y'all are hyping them up like gods just because they are a tiny bit better than the other gone case ones. Please touch some grass. They are humans, not literal gods. They can do wrong things. You don't have to compare about how your idol was better than another idol js to prove that your "oppa" or "unnie" didn't do anything wrong. 🤓 The main issue was that EVERYONE present at that event was so wrong to not speak up or just attend the event in the first place. The W party isn't a new thing. Everyone knows it's just for the celeb meetup and not actually about the BC awareness. Your favs, who literally live in korea, would obviously know that. Yet, they choose to attend it. But some of yall which completely sideline this and choose to focus on convincing others how your fav was the least bad out of them. If they had chose to just spread awareness atleast in the interviews, no one would have beat them up or anything. They had a choice, and they didn't take it. As i saw in some post recently, it's giving just like the 🇵🇸 situation, where some fans absolutely refuse to agree that your idol did anything wrong. "But he didn't know about 🇵🇸! 🥺" Or "look at your idol, she literally did a coca cola ad, mine atleast just mentioned starbucks in her live! She has no option, she had to drink coffee!" This is so embarrassing. It's always eat the cake until it comes to your favourite idols. They don't live in your houses. You don't know them personally. Please get out of the ridiculous bubble you live in, and touch some grass. submitted by /u/bubblefryri [link] [comments]
I'll start: HyunA and Yong Jun Hyung's wedding, especially the people defending this guy the sasaengs and fans who are very obsessed with idols Let's be honest, it's a question submitted by /u/hawkraptor2005 [link] [comments]
I bet they have no idea how much their words helped people. It should have been the bare minimum to expect anyone attending the W Korea to just say something about the cause... anything. Yet, almost nobody did. Congrats to those three for taking initiative and being good human beings! submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]

Something being more popular than you think it should be does not make something overrated. It also makes no sense. Your basically saying "I wish less people knew about this" 😭 There are many viral and popular songs that are pretty much universally crapped on, some of them even became popular for being bad. That does not make those songs overrated. That is stupid. Overrated is something that's perceived quality is greater than it's actual quality. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Hey everyone, I hope you all had a good week. I know my week was pretty good, as we were given some great albums and songs to help make it even better. The days are starting to get a little breezier, which has been a good time to put on a hoodie. I’ve been excited to talk about the tracks from this week, as I feel like this week picked up a bit after a slow last week. Now, let’s jump into the music and see what the artists delivered. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/r07trlbbqwvf1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2108b1208e1fb9c2dff9396efbae9cc93f36ac96 Best of the Week: October 13th Blue Valinetine - NMIXX NMIXX returned this week with an excellent full-length project one I keep returning to like crazy. The opening song on the album Blue Valentine brings in some pop-rock elements with that MIXXPOP sound that we’ve heard from the group before. I found the pop-rock elements to work perfectly for the group, opening up the album in a great direction. Reality Hurts goes deep into the electronic sound, bringing in some hyper-pop/hardstyle sounds that have been pulling me back for more this week. RICO brought in a dancehall sound, something I have never been a fan of, but NMIXX took the dancehall sound and made it something I was enjoying. We do get two versions of O.O. cause a lot of people thought they were two songs smashed into one. I like both versions of the song as they give off a different vibe. NMIXX did an excellent job with this studio album, bringing in smooth vocal performances and catchy hooks that will continue it bring me back for more. https://preview.redd.it/8lqmub3jqwvf1.jpg?width=710&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f9e455ee731149173a3b9a4af21b5ac61b94f4a ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Other Koreon Releases of the Week: October 16th 타임캡슐 - Davichi Vocal duo Davichi is back with a new single, opening with a guitar and percussion. The sweet vocals blend wonderfully with the melody that sounds a bit more upbeat. The two singers still work well together, making this another excellent tune from them. The hook is upbeat, packed with emotion, and features killer vocal notes that will pull me back for more. I will say the instrumental has a bit of a pop-rock vibe that surprised me with how well it worked with the duo’s voices. I’m mostly used to Davichi delivering ballads, but it’s a nice change of pace to hear an upbeat tune from them. https://preview.redd.it/wwpw6jauqwvf1.jpg?width=686&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8952f204059c69afddef6ba7160ac0e8d0f6beb3 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Non-Korean Releases of the Week: Play (The Remixes) - Ed Sheeran This week, Ed Sheeran released a Remix EP featuring 4 Remixes of Songs from Play, on which he adds Indian Artists to the tracks. Sapphire with Arijit Singh was released back in July, and I’ve been listening to that version like crazy. Symmetry adds Ksran Aujla to the mix, who blends wonderfully with the instrumental, and I love how Ed sings a bit in Indian, blending with the feature. Heaven adds Jonita, who adds a sweet verse to the vibey tune that might be the vibeyiest tune on play. The last song I wanted to mention is Don’t Look Down which might be the best remix, which adds Humankind, Dhee & Santhosh Narayanan to the mix. The instrumental for Don’t Look Down gets remixed, sounding different from the original. In the remix, we get a flute solo that hits hard, adding to the overall vibe, and a killer rap verse that I didn’t expect to hear. I find these remixes enjoyable as I show that Ed is willing to collaborate with anyone, as he is trying new things during this era. https://preview.redd.it/49vc898arwvf1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46e012dbee6f1487e8b0e0c38f9a31b5b70846e4 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Weekly Lastfm Round Up (October 10th - October 16th) Artist: Twice https://preview.redd.it/4il209lcrwvf1.jpg?width=696&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a977cd09021a7e362ac4e1d99313654ac1ec0a2b ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Album: Ten: The Story Goes on - Twice https://preview.redd.it/hvfmq77hrwvf1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2e39a46356842370df72f57223437340cf34d70 ━━━━━━━━☓ ━━━━━━━ Song: MEEEEEE (NAYEON) - Twice https://preview.redd.it/3x98m0lyrwvf1.jpg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae9b370102e9a3403cf9ea5db26de60d2bc84a9c submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]
