[Just an opinion] Obviously I'm not against idols doing dance challenges with female idols, but it strikes me as odd that every time a male idol does a GG choreography, people complain that they "masculinize the choreography." I think the problem here isn't that idols do it to be annoying or because they can't do the steps, but because they know that if they follow the choreography, the internet will call them "gay" or "affeminate." Sadly, that's the reality many male idols have to endure. Change must happen online, not through idols. That's why I applaud the fact that idols are now daring to dance without caring what people say. submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]

Lets say that you are trying to introduce your friends or family into the K-Pop world, which song are you going to play them? I would play STUNNER by TEN. This song is soo good, and no one can deny good music. submitted by /u/Artistic_Giraffe4069 [link] [comments]
I have been seeing a few different people on various social media outlets analyzing idols and diagnosing them with various mental health disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, OCD, etc.. As someone in the mental health field, this feels so unethical and ignorant. The worst is when they preface it by saying that they are in the mental health field as a way to provide credentials. First of all, there is a process that goes with diagnosing an individual. Yes, observation is a huge portion of diagnosing. However, the observation can't be done based on videos we see of them. We do not know these people. We do not know how they are in real life. We can't use observations based on what we are seeing from edited videos. This isn't even factoring in typical psych testing that is done. I think it's great that people are more open to mental health disorders generally, but let's stick to discussing our own experiences instead of sticking a label onto someone else. submitted by /u/imgurgal [link] [comments]

I was just thinking about how for me thereās a few songs I actually canāt listen to on a regular basis because of the emotions they make me feel. Thereās a few which are more obvious tragic songs like those which are tributes and obviously make me feel sad when I hear them, but thereās also some less obvious songs. The #1 song I love but which I literally cannot listen to is SKZ Social Path. Donāt get me wrong itās an amazing song (maybe one of their best ever) but itās so raw and genuine about how much Chan (and all of them) struggled to get where they are that it actually makes me want to crawl out of my skin whenever I hear it. Itās equally hopeful as it is sad but even the hopeful parts are so honest that it almost makes me feel like Iām hearing something I shouldnāt. Every time I have such an emotional reaction to it that having it on my playlist just cannot happen. When I heard it live I bawled my eyes out. I still listen to it on occasion but I have to be in such a specific mood. Are there any songs you feel similarly about or that bring up a strong feeling for whatever reason that you canāt listen to them without having a reaction like that? submitted by /u/Additional_AR [link] [comments]
Is it just me or does whiplash by aespa sound extremely similar to donāt click play by Ava max. What do you think???š submitted by /u/No-Recording-3274 [link] [comments]
First off I want to make it very clear that none of what I say should be taken as an excuse to shame any idols. If you must moralize, critique the taste of the general public. Anyway, this thought came to me after a TikTok about why NMIXX isn't more popular inspired me to go back to Nmixx's predebut covers. The amount of tight cropped shirts really stood out to me, and the dance choreos were at times a bit much. The videos that showed more skin were also the ones with the most views. Contrast that vibe with O.O, which is the most chaste major gg debut I can think of. There's basically no romance in the lyrics and the MV outfits are very baggy and fluffy. Also, the members can absolutely bring romantic chemistry. All of the fandom's ships are not based on nothing. It just seems like the creative direction for songs is much more on the cool side of things and the GP hasn't latched on. Do you agree with this read of the branding of NMIXX's songs? submitted by /u/RoyGeraldBillevue [link] [comments]
this is no hate towards the boys im making this to know peoples actual opinions! its for fun! but skz work very hard and i aprecciate all their hard work! (was listening to LALALALA while making this) submitted by /u/SuspiciousCurve3341 [link] [comments]
I feel like everyone thought the same, gnarly was terrible at first listen I thought the song was a joke and everyone was lying when the gnarly leaks came out, but after like the 3rd listen I actually kinda liked it.. š submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]
iām sure itās happened a few more times than these three i can think of but itās super cool when members are able to step up and you canāt tell the lead is missing. my first experience with this was nuāest 3rd anniversary. main vocal baekho had surgery to get vocal nodes removed and wasnāt able to record vocals for āiām badā special single album. (nuāest would later have a come back with our lead vocal minhyun who was in wannaone at the time.) the second was when solji from exid was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism right before the eclipse album and wasnāt doing well. hyelin slide so fucking hard on that album omg especially on boy. we knew she had it in her it wasnāt a surprise ,but it was great to hear. the most recent was itzyās lia taking a break for her mental. some might say āwell lia doesnāt sound that good anywayā to that i say this is not a shit on lia safe space BEYOCH thatās on mr. vampire final version!!! can you think of anymore? please let me know! i didnāt include live performance where the lead vocals were covered by others intentionally but if you have some still feel free to share. submitted by /u/pinkygarfeild [link] [comments]
So for example, Seventeen debuted in 2015, and i can either choose their discography from 2015-2020 or 2020-2025. It pains me to say this, but Iāll pick the later half. Iām so sorry Mansae my love š¢ submitted by /u/Lilac-Soul [link] [comments]
