Why do K-pop groups seem like they are not as popular as they used to be?

I got a few videos of ADP's Annie and Tarzzan on a variety show so I watched it. Loved group interactions. All of them are so unique and I love their interactions especially as an emerging coed group. But here's the thing: why are almost all of them weak vocal wise? A lot of their songs have lower registers and I don't understand why since none of the girls except maybe Bailey a little can't sing lower register. Live their singing is very very weak. 3/4 of the group's "rappers" can't rap. The only person who held their own live was Woochan and even then he definitely had his weaker moments. Watch any of their live performances, it's pretty evident. I love their content and since they served bad boss energy I thought they'd be super charismatic on stage. They lowk just look like rookies. Even dance wise Youngseo falls behind a lot, Annie a little too. Sometimes all of them except Bailey I'd say are serving no face too. A little disappointed, but I can't wait for them to improve. Again I'm very impressed by their personality and ethics and interactions so I'm hoping either they get music produced that is more to their ranges or they improve on their techniques. Not sure if y’all have seen this, but apparently ZB1 just dropped a new trailer for their upcoming comeback. There’s a part where Ricky is shown writing and decorating things in his diary — and some of those exact snippets are shown in the trailer. And later ricky came to plus chat to tell people how the staffs "mimic" his handwriting. And looking at how neat and similar those words are they probably even paid for it . Which is insane if u ask me. It got me thinking again about how overly affectionate or romantic interactions between members might actually be scripted — and not just in ZB1, but across many groups. And how far this company would take just to sell a fake narrative to the fans . (This literally could risks them getting sued ? ) Also… remember that HYBE internal report where they admitted to monitoring fanfiction tags and using them for market research? Yeah. So with that in mind, I’m starting to believe more in the "gay-for-pay" theory when it comes to certain idol dynamics.
