Have recently been very much into Katseye and I know they’re not exactly Kpop but are there groups you can recommend that give off the same vibe? I love the energy of their performances. And how they all serve different looks but have insane chemistry and synchronization. I’ve also been liking Twice but am still going down their list of performances. submitted by /u/ApprehensiveTreat240 [link] [comments]
Please recommend some good kpop content creators/micro-influencers from Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia etc.) submitted by /u/VegetableIntern4947 [link] [comments]
fell in love w this track on my first listen. it's so laidback, chill, cool, do u guys get what i mean? anyway, i need recommendations for songs that have this similar sound. so far i only got easy by le sserafim and invu by taeyeon (idk but it's similar for me lol) submitted by /u/localbadboi [link] [comments]
For me, these are: “Gnarly” – KATSEYE’s facial expressions are really something I look forward to in every performance. They bring so much character and attitude that the live stages hit way harder than the audio version. “Crazy” – I would never get tired of watching LE SSERAFIM perform this. Same song, but every stage gives off a different vibe. Their synchronization and stage presence are just amazing—it makes the live version way more exciting. “Thunder” – I actually enjoyed SEVENTEEN’s performances of this song more than just listening to it. Maybe it’s because I saw their 10th Anniversary B-Day Party performance first before hearing the song itself. submitted by /u/why_dmn [link] [comments]

The rules are easy: I give you different rounds with different JPop and KPop idols/artists and you have top pick by their looks which person you would pick in each round ~ Left side will be always the KPop one, right always the JPop one ~ What do you pick? https://preview.redd.it/7fstaecl9dbf1.jpg?width=445&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ef52a4f6aea8252da54fe94f49afcd64c90c9b0 https://preview.redd.it/fpo15pim9dbf1.jpg?width=445&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e40d35901425d66a2f0941f9566dc4c553e51f91 submitted by /u/Beautiful_Yellow_682 [link] [comments]

So I just got done with my 10th rewatch of KPDH and I really want to get into kpop now because the music in that movie is just amazing. I’ve really been like ateez specifically the song halazia and the song whiplash by NCT 127. I also love the group katseye so if anyone has recs like the songs I’ve listed. I want to get into kpop because the music is amazing from the songs I’ve heard so far and don’t get me started on the performances, the dancing the production just sucks you in and the performances are fun to watch. submitted by /u/Dazzling-Trash-3592 [link] [comments]
it could be either insanely funny or insanely worrying LMAO i know groups like Bts, Seventeen and Got7 have really really wild anecdotes 💀 idk what happened during 3rd gen submitted by /u/NeighborhoodTiny1431 [link] [comments]
So… can we talk about the backlash Eunbi is getting after her Waterbomb performance? you can watch it on YouTube, maybe I'm too woke. Because the internalized misogyny flying around is WILD. I-netizens are out here being supportive, playful even “protecting her from men,” celebrating her confidence, and admiring the fact that she’s owning her body and her stage presence. Meanwhile, k-netizens and disturbingly, a large portion of them being women are tearing her down for the same thing. I’ve seen actual comments saying she’s “set back women’s rights in Korea by a decade.” Are you kidding me? Because she dared to show confidence in her body? Because she chose to be sexy on her own terms? This is not feminism. Policing women’s choices under the guise of "protecting feminism" is the most twisted form of internalized misogyny. Eunbi isn’t being objectified she’s claiming the spotlight, taking control of her image, and performing like a pro. She’s not doing this for the male gaze. She’s doing it because she’s an artist, and sexy doesn’t mean submissive or anti-feminist. It’s honestly exhausting how Korean society still can’t handle women being confident without immediately reducing them to threats to morality or “bad influences.” Let women be multifaceted. Let them be soft, strong, sexy, talented all at once. To Eunbi: you killed it. And to the women hating on her please take a moment to reflect on whether you’re angry at her, or at the freedom she has that you’ve been taught to fear. submitted by /u/chrisomi9 [link] [comments]

https://youtu.be/CvQaclUIVX0?si=Cag6nxJyGBWr52ij Both groups are iconic in my heart! Both had such interesting proposals... It's such a bummer that they didn't hit it big! Swan's CRAXY is an amazing main vocalist and extremely underrated. This queen deserved to go viral. I thought that any girl of craxy could go viral at any moment, nugudom was such a great comeback and bold statement...but then Chaey was removed from the group... That was devastating. She was such an important pilar to the group! They had so much potential as 5 members. It's sad that they had to cancel their plans of releasing more music when Chaey was on board. Their producer was amazing and was the same producer as Pixy ( if I'm not wrong???). Regarding Pixy... Oh, well. Loved Ella's vocals so much. Their haunting concept was superb. Those vocals. Those instrumentals. Amazing production but they didn't last so much as a group... Villain was amazing despite the removal of the members but I was still mourning. It's sad to think about groups that could have had longer trajectories. CRAXY and PIXY I love your music and you deserved better. CRAXY poison rose submitted by /u/MapacheRob [link] [comments]
