I'll go first! Rolling Quartz deserves more popularity! They focus in a rock genre. I got to see them on tour this year and got to do Hi-Touch with the members. They put on an absolutely amazing show, interacted with the audience, and are super sweet. They performed their own songs as well as a few covers of western rock songs (Kickstart My Heart and Crazy Train, for example), as well as doing a remix cover of Mic Drop by BTS and Pink Venom by BlackPink. They're insanely talented. submitted by /u/Jjong_Hariibo [link] [comments]

As a multistan, I like to think about hypotheticals (like, how would I organize teams if Stray Kids and Seventeen were to do a variety show together, or what would be the ultimate funniest seven member girl group, or what would be the most OP leader only group with at most ten members). And while I don't necessarily like ranking groups because they're all incredibly hard working and talented, I do enjoy ranking songs I already like from those groups because it's a fun, hypothetical, critical thinking exercise. In that spirit, here are six songs in no particular order from one of my most listened-to playlists. I know how I'd rank them, but I'm curious about what the Hive Mind of the Internet thinks. If you haven't heard one of the songs, I recommend taking a quick listen. But I'm curious about how the Hive Mind of the Internet at this moment would rank these songs that I already love. So pick the one you objectively think is the best. No fighting, everyone. They're all very good songs, this isn't a reflection of how good the groups are (spoiler: they're all amazing and I love all of them) and we can be civil and focus on why songs are good. I’ve noticed that in some fandoms, the maknae gets really babied no matter how old they are, while in others, they’re just treated like any other member. Sometimes people see them as the group’s “baby,” and sometimes fans barely mention that they’re the youngest at all. How’s it like in your favorite group? Do fans tend to infantilize the maknae, or do they treat them more normally? Or is there a case where they actually get sexualized a lot? submitted by /u/Sea-Republic8892 [link] [comments]

Ever since the last i-dle album came out, the track Miyeon wrote/composed reminded me of something but I couldn’t put my finger on it, until this week when Spinnin On It came out, and it finally hit me: it kinda sounds like it could be an NMIXX song. NMIXX - Spinnin On It i-dle - Unstoppable It’s a different vibe, but the drums/bass/ad-lib layering has something, or am I crazy? Anyway, now that Miyeon just announced she’s working on her solo comeback, I’m obsessed with the idea of her getting Haewon and Lily (or all 6 why not it’s not going to happen anyway why not dream big) to feature on a track submitted by /u/zoooeys [link] [comments]

AOA is certainly know for their iconic song Miniskirt. Eventhough they were different clothes is the MV/on stage, I get curious about this particular outfit: White blouse, red skirt, black thin belt, stockings and high heels. What style/profession would you associate with this outfit? Secretary/office girl Flight attendant Hotel attendant Bank attendant Another profession/style ? I'm curious about what you think 😀 ? submitted by /u/Cestlavieenrose999 [link] [comments]

Have you ever had an ‘adult’ encounter with an idol? Tell your story. No need to drop names but you CAN drop hints of who it is 😏. I wanna know some naughty tea. submitted by /u/Tumbleweed-Fickle [link] [comments]
I've been plagued thinking about the way a friend I used to have acted. She did used to gaslight me a lot, so at the time of our friendship I thought the things she did and said were normal, but after almost a year of being apart, I've realized they were a bit odd. To start it off, she was a person that would get multiple tickets to different stops for the same artist during the same tour. She would brag about the fact that she saw TXT like six times in one year. She would also get VIP and barricade, and claim that Soobin looked at her and that he was practically her best friend. She also claimed that Yeonjun "hated" her because he would glare everytime he saw her. At first I thought these were all just jokes, but she was being dead serious. She would zoom in and pause videos she took of them on stage to have "proof" for her claims. She would say that she didn't care about her seating arrangements when it came to concerts, yet ditched me at my very first kpop concert because she wanted to be closer. I had bought tickets for both of us, and as we were going through the arena doors she disappeared, then texted me and said she got a different ticket last minute. Then, after the concert, bragged about how the group members noticed her because she was the only one getting hype and dancing, basically saying she was y/n and the members couldn't stop looking at her lol. She was a bit koreabooish at times too. She would say weird things about Asian men, claiming that they are the only men she'll go for. I remember when I had a slight crush on a guy and he was white, and she clowned me for that and said something along the lines of "I'm sticking with Asians." I didn't say anything, but it struck me as odd at the time. Anytime we had an interaction with an Asian person, she would make a big deal about it. If it was a woman, she would claim they were hating on her. If it was a man, suddenly her personality completely changed and she became the sweetest girl ever. Just things like that were a bit weird. Lol now that I've typed everything out, I ultimately realize it was hella weird how she used to act. Has anyone else been around a friend who's been like this? submitted by /u/browsinggirlie [link] [comments]
