DISCLAIMER: DON'T COME FOR ME. You are absolutely allowed to voice your differing opinions, but keep it civil, please. Seriously. No, like seriously - read it again. Thank you. Daniela and Manon can't act: Just watched "Gabriela" and found myself actually cringing at how bad Daniela and Manon's line deliveries were in the beginning (and I know Daniela's first language is Spanish, but so is Sofia Vergara's and lots of other actors and actresses). I wasn't expecting them to be amazing or anything, but sheesh. BUT: This does not change they fact that they are INCREDIBLY talented at the stuff that does matter in an idol group - singing and dancing. Megan and Manon's hair are NOT it: Manon looks like they put her hair in a bun and then put the wig on top - like, the way it's sitting looks like it has this weird, huge lump. And I just don't like the different colored bangs on Megan because they've looked faded and fried from the start. Let that girl's hair breathe, baby. Okay. That one was a bit harsh, but I didn't really know how else to say it. BUT: They are both still very beautiful, even with stuff I personally don't find as flattering on them. I don't think either of them would look bad with the hairstyles if they were executed better, which is not their fault. If Lea can do it, I can: We're all aware that when it comes to Itzy's Lea, she is not the strongest dancer, yet she is still able to keep up with the other four girls (who are all truly main dancer quality which is EXTREMELY rare in a group). Itzy's dances aren't easy and Lea is still able to maintain the group's pristine synchronization image. I always keep that in mind when learning Itzy's dances - Lea was able to learn this, so I can too. BUT: Lea is a cutie pie, hard worker, great leader, good singer, and brings a lightness to the group that I really enjoy. She definitely deserves to be in Itzy. I HATE the headband look: You know when they give idols them big 'ole headbands that they slap on top of their foreheads, covering it up completely? You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. That looks SO unflattering to me. I hate that trend. BUT: I really don't have any buts. submitted by /u/VariousAccess6241 [link] [comments]
Hi guys, as the title said- please tell me your fav K-Pop visual/s. Obviously, different people will have different perspective of beauty and ideal visual; so please respect people' comments and opinions. Pls share your opinion/s with me, hope you guys have funš For me, my fav visuals of K-Pop are: Jin (BTS), Jisoo (BLACKPINK, Sunghoon (ENHYPEN), and Wonyoung (IVE). This is not a biased opinion, I just tend to like elegant visualsš submitted by /u/Specific_Cake_5410 [link] [comments]

I have been continuously listening to SNSDās last comebacks. Mr. Mr., Catch Me If You Can, the Boys, Lion Heart, Holiday. They were so versatile and high quality music. The way Lion Heart being the last massive hit song by a 2nd gen artist and swept 15 wins on music shows and gathering YouTube views were so legendary. SNSD will never be beaten by anyone and their legacy is so strong and special. submitted by /u/leonardreignn [link] [comments]
And don't get me wrong, but for me, being an idol means that you have to āself-convinceā yourself of many things, otherwise you don't survive the industry. You have to convince yourself that you're always going to have to show the best part of yourself, because if you make a false step you're going to be criticized. You have to convince yourself that exhausting yourself physically and emotionally is good, because you have to be perfect for your fans. I have seen many times idols cry, despise themselves and fall apart just to āplease the fansā. No one should go to such lengths just to not get hate. Edit before you cancel me: I know some idols are speaking up about this, and I am completly supportive of them trying to give visibility to what they have to live with. submitted by /u/_issio [link] [comments]

I'm basically using this post to go on a little rant about Doyoung. He's one of my ults and today he took the 2nd win for Memory. Previously he didn't attend the broadcast for the 1st win so he told czennies that if he won today he'd sing the encore with them. Lo and behold he won but he got so overwhelmed and emotional that he could just get his speech out somehow but couldn't sing at all. The fans present there then proceeded to sing the encore parts for him. The fanchants during his performance were also so so loud. Watching this live made me tear up a little ngl. These last few months have particularly been a bit tough being a Czennie and specially with the case trial happening right in the middle of his promotions, I wondered if it would impact his work in anyway. I'm glad he's been receiving such good praise for his album and his concerts also went really well. My czennie heart is full š I'd love to hear if y'all have experienced any moments like this that made you happy to be part of a fandom. submitted by /u/Chutneysandwich16 [link] [comments]
Im not a diehard Aespa fan or anything like that but I have notice in some recent performance from Aespa that she looks more like a backup dancer than being part of a group? Like the only reason I can tell shes Giselle is due to her hair color. Why are they doing this to Giselle? Like what did she do to piss off their stylist? submitted by /u/PonyyingBop [link] [comments]

I became a BTS fan during the release of Dynamite and have been a fan ever since. Recently, Iāve started watching SEVENTEEN, and although Iām not fully immersed in their content yet, I get the feeling that CARATs are very welcoming. To my fellow ARMY-CARATs, do you feel the same? Iāve been on and off ARMY social media because of some solo stans in the fandom, there's toooo much especially from Jimin fans (sorry guys it's just from personal experience). Is there a lot of toxicity among CARATs too? submitted by /u/AdBackground1419 [link] [comments]

I understand we're very early into the 5th gen but it seems like none of the 5th gen groups have managed to capture the same success as their seniors? I don't know much about boy groups, but I get the sense that they're even less popular with the GP than girl groups. The current leader - Babymonster hasn't had a national hit. They've been growing exponentially on every metric domestically and globally, but they don't have that one signature hit that'll cement them in the big leagues. The formerly potential leader Illit had a national hit, and then kinda of fizzled out. Even their latest release isn't doing too hot. H2H barely made any noise. JYP doesn't have a 5th gen group yet, but Nmixx weren't ever particularly successful or considered one of the top group despite having debuted for quite some time. Yes, I understand it takes time to build a fanbase, but I didn't feel like that was the case for 4th gen? Like Itzy, Ive, Izone all came out bursting on the scene and quickly shot to the top. They didn't need time to grow to overtake their seniors. They came out and instantly became the hot new thing. Same with Newjeans. Idle & Aespa took sometime, but it was relatively short, and after they got to the top they've managed to cling on with longevity. And to an extent, Lesserafim while not having a national hit also established themselves as one of the top groups quite quickly. But I don't see any of the new girl groups doing that? Is there a reason why? Is Korea just tired of K-Pop in general? I know many of them just debuted, but some Big 3 5th gen groups have been out for over a year and aren't anywhere near where their seniors were at this point in time. Is it oversaturation? submitted by /u/papapamrumpum [link] [comments]
