Yup, it’s safe to say that 5th Gen is far from boring.

I have heard from many non kpop fans says that they don't like pop songs, and kpop are mostly dominated with hip hop, pop, experimental and noisy sounds, but kpop is not a genre but an industry, they just didn't find the right song, ballad, r&b, afrobeat, jazz, raggae, very underrated genres. submitted by /u/GuideOk7067 [link] [comments]

Watching this 2015 clip of K-pop idols visiting India back when fans were mad that the locals didn’t recognize them. I can’t help but cringe at how seriously we indian stans took it. We acted like it was a national failure with fans saying shit like “India doesn’t deserve them” or literally “I’m ashamed to be indian” as if not knowing K-pop was some moral flaw. Back then I kinda felt that way too. But now?? The whole outrage felt so….unnecessary. Like India is a vast country with over a billion people, each living their own lives. Not everyone follows K-pop. Even stars like Zendaya, Tom Holland Dua Lipa who are really popular in India didn't get recognised by the locals. And that’s okay. Would most Koreans recognise an Indian celebrity in Seoul? Probably not. So I don't understand why we made such a big deal out of this? Sometimes I feel that it was the inferiority complex which we have. What do u guys think?? submitted by /u/push2starttt [link] [comments]

oh i can smell the hate im going to get for this but pls know that EVEN IF YOU DO NOT LIKE A IDOL IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT THEIR BODIES. lets stay as human as we can. submitted by /u/Maleficent_Dinner875 [link] [comments]
Also do tell song name and group name. submitted by /u/starrygolden [link] [comments]
this is not a hate comment i just mean that healthy discussions related to artists and their music can take place without the need to put others down but i guess people are not ready for it. submitted by /u/Maleficent_Dinner875 [link] [comments]
After watching SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, I think that 5th gen groups each have their own unique strengths and appeal. Groups like Babymonster, IZNA, MEOVV, Allday Project, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, and others all bring something different to their performances, whether it's concept, vibe, or performance style. Some stood out with strong live vocals, others had impressive stage presence or perfectly synchronized dancing, etc. What stood out to me was how diverse and refreshing each performance felt. 5th gen idols definitely aren’t all the same, and they’re not boring. submitted by /u/matt_vaghn [link] [comments]
I remember going to KCON 2015 LA and it was the best experience if you love K-Pop, Korean food, and K-culture in general. I paid $20 for a convention wristband and around $250-300 for my P2 concert ticket. I went by myself and still enjoyed it. These days I don't think it's worth it anymore submitted by /u/No-Vehicle1562 [link] [comments]
Hi everyone 💜 I’m currently developing a visual novel (fangame) inspired by the K-pop Demon Hunters concept, but with a more emotional, introspective, and narrative-focused approach. The project is called: 🎮 KPOP DEMON HUNTERS: Love & Ruin I think KDH concept doesn't need introduction at this point But it’s not just about battles. Or the stages It’s about the bonds between them. About what happens off stage. About love, fear, guilt, betrayal, and hope. 🖤 This is a project made by fans, for fans. 🔮 No NSFW or inappropriate content — just story, emotion, and painful choices. 🚫 It’s completely non-profit. No official logos or branding used. 💡 Includes romantic routes (GL, by example included) and multiple possible endings. I’m working on a free playable demo (around 5–10 minutes) and wanted to ask if anyone here would be interested in trying it out or just following the project. I’d love to share this with the community and hear your thoughts. If there’s interest, I can also post some screenshots, sneak peeks, or set up a space for updates. Thanks so much for reading. If you enjoy K-pop with a bit of darkness, drama, and raw emotion, or if you enjoyed KDH you might like this And tbh this is an experimental proyect cause there's a big probability that someone of the representants of Netflix or Sony come to broke my legs to force me to erase the game so, if I dissappear and the proyect too you guys should know why submitted by /u/TechnicalPitch9461 [link] [comments]

Mine would be BTS’ songs from their older albums. They’re the first EVER kpop group I stanned. From 2 COOL 4 SKOOL up to You Never Walk Alone, those are my favorite albums everrrrr. I mean, the rest of their albums are amazing too, but there’s just something about those early ones that hits different. They’re so nostalgic for me. Back then, I listened to those albums every single day. And now, whenever I hear those old songs, it’s like I’m instantly transported to a specific memory or a certain time in my life. I don’t even know how to explain it, maybe it’s those random little moments where I had them playing in the background on an ordinary day when I was idk 12-13? Somehow, those songs turned those random days into something I still remember. submitted by /u/pffffftokay [link] [comments]
