Watching this 2015 clip of K-pop idols visiting India back when fans were mad that the locals didn’t recognize them. I can’t help but cringe at how seriously we indian stans took it. We acted like it was a national failure with fans saying shit like “India doesn’t deserve them” or literally “I’m ashamed to be indian” as if not knowing K-pop was some moral flaw. Back then I kinda felt that way too. But now?? The whole outrage felt so….unnecessary. Like India is a vast country with over a billion people, each living their own lives. Not everyone follows K-pop. Even stars like Zendaya, Tom Holland Dua Lipa who are really popular in India didn't get recognised by the locals. And that’s okay. Would most Koreans recognise an Indian celebrity in Seoul? Probably not. So I don't understand why we made such a big deal out of this? After watching SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, I think that 5th gen groups each have their own unique strengths and appeal. Groups like Babymonster, IZNA, MEOVV, Allday Project, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, KiiiKiii, and others all bring something different to their performances, whether it's concept, vibe, or performance style. I remember going to KCON 2015 LA and it was the best experience if you love K-Pop, Korean food, and K-culture in general. I paid $20 for a convention wristband and around $250-300 for my P2 concert ticket. I went by myself and still enjoyed it. The project is called: 🎮 KPOP DEMON HUNTERS: Love & Ruin I think KDH concept doesn't need introduction at this point But it’s not just about battles. Or the stages It’s about the bonds between them. About what happens off stage. About love, fear, guilt, betrayal, and hope. 🖤 This is a project made by fans, for fans. 🔮 No NSFW or inappropriate content — just story, emotion, and painful choices. 🚫 It’s completely non-profit. No official logos or branding used. 💡 Includes romantic routes (GL, by example included) and multiple possible endings. I’m working on a free playable demo (around 5–10 minutes) and wanted to ask if anyone here would be interested in trying it out or just following the project.
