Ever since his waterbomb performance dropped I’ve noticed how straight out mean and judgemental people have been to him. I get it, he can appear as « cringe » to a majority of people ( including me ) and that is not a reason to mock him on the internet like that. At the end of the day he is just a man in his 50s enjoying his kpop dream, y’all don’t have to make fun of him like that. We don’t know how comments like « If i’ve seen that you have to see it too » are going to affect his mental. I know he is not the most unproblematic celebrity but being that harsh on him isn’t a solution. Idk how long will this post last cause my last post praising BTS got taken down in few minutes and I'm also not a BLINK but anyways just finished watching every performance and it was honestly amazing , I'm never agreeing with the sentiment that Blackpink are not good performers they're easily one of the best when they're giving it their all. Setlist was also amazing cause I really don't like songs from The album and Born pink so I'm glad it was mostly their old b-sides. Even the backtrack wasn't so loud this time , they didn't have to scream over it. I'm also excited for Jump , it is already so addictive!! All the members did amazing and Jisoo improved so much. It was so weird to hear them speaking Korean cause most of the time I have heard them speaking English lol. Idk and idc about their off stage chemistry but their on stage chemistry is amazing they're always hyping up each other. Honestly smh their concert just made me more impatient for BTS's concert cause I was so hyped up for them even when they're not my ults but BTS are my ults so I know I'm gonna be over the moon when they will perform together. Just a thought I was having how the main vocal always gets praise but the rest of the group being able to harmonizing whether it's just one additional voice or them all coming together. That's so difficult, especially in groups where each member has very distinct voices but it adds so much to the song. In choral singing, you can tell when someone just don't know where their note is. Just an appreciation post for all the groups putting work in to make pleasing harmonies. f(x) is one group that really stands out to me. All their voices are so different so each blend was very unique. This is song which is not a official release but a player which is songs which don't have albums but are only released on YouTube and maybe have albums down the line The song goodbye sung by seungmin and written and arranged by Bang Chan shows how he shouldn't have said goodbye to his family when he went away to become a idol and how much he missed out on everything by leaving..it's a heartbreaking song btw beautifully sung by Seungmin showing a slight guilt on leaving everything saying goodbye and not being with his loved ones at a time where he should be growing up with them It's really raw and emotional on what idols feel after looking back after many years on their journey and thought maybe I wish I had done things differently . ,I wish I had spent time with my parents my family ...there is a part where there is a apology to his mom and dad for being so away for so long This must be a thing for many idols who left everything behind and how we need to realise even though it was "their choice to become idols "but 13 year olds don't always make the best choice heck even 18 year olds don't and sometimes even 30 year old regret their choices.... younger people make choices on more idealistic ways than realistic based on how much they have seen the world and getting into this industry forces them to grow up faster but with lack of education and outside world view and heavily connected to their companies submitted by /u/Stayblinkforever1606 [link] [comments]
