I didn’t have the opportunity to go to the concert, but I was so happy for the exo-ls who did it. Many of us have been waiting since EXO debut for the group or one of them come to Brazil, and we finally had the pleasure of having Baekhyun here. We were even given the nickname β€œbrotinho πŸŒ±β€ which means β€œlittle sprout” (so cute πŸ₯Ή). Everything was amazing. He felt welcomed, loved, and had a lot of fun. To all the EXOLs going to the tour, please sing Baekhyun’s songs really loud and make him feel how loved he is, not just in Korea, but all around the world πŸ’• submitted by /u/IcyJudgment8897 [link] [comments]

2.533. "Why doesn't ABC have as much recognition as XYZ if they are clearly better"

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

How many times have we not seen these discussions where fans start saying things like I don't understand why ABC is not as recognized as XYZ, if they clearly deserve it more because they have better voices, dances, etc. Because it's about the music my friend, look, if I like a song I'm going to add it to my playlist, I don't care if that group really doesn't know how to sing, dance or write, etc. Anyway, I have no intention of paying to see them live, as long as something sounds good in my player, I'm going to listen to it. Many of these groups that people say "don't deserve the fame they have" have very good music, that's why people consume it, and I think that is what many do not want to understand. submitted by /u/Someonehihi [link] [comments]

2.535. let's play a little guessing game

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Pick two of your ults (from different groups), give one specific similarity and one difference between them and everyone else has to guess who it is.The clues should be somewhat specific but still vague enough to keep it interesting not something like they're both vocalists or something of that sort. submitted by /u/RemarkableList4202 [link] [comments]

2.536. YG artists/idols who said that they're a fan or like SM groups/idols?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Kind of a curious thought I had recently since I remember for the first time seeing Baekhyun sing along to a bunch of Bigbang songs and also learned that ningning attended bigbangs concert in the past. Also hearing that Seunghan takes inspiration from Taeyang. The two companies have been known for a long time to have contrasting concepts with each other so hearing those things was a bit of a surprise for me. So I was wondering if the true is the other way around, if there are any YG idols or artists who are a fan of any SM idols or groups. Because from what I can tell they all just say they all like other YG groups. As a bigbang fan I think they said a looong time ago that they (as a group) took inspiration off of Shinhwa but that's a very foggy memory and I can't verify if that's true. submitted by /u/Rex0680 [link] [comments]

2.538. People's thoughts on Baby DONT Cry's debut?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

(Not here to talk about the candy wrapper controversy. I know it's a big topic regarding this debut but I wanna hear what people think about the debut in itself.) My thoughts: I personally love both songs. I think it's the kind of teenage concept I've been looking for recently. It's rebellious, it's a little angsty, but it's also very self-loving and confident. A lot of teenage concepts in kpop are very cutesy, not that that's an issue, but I really prefer this. Overall, I love the songs and the MVs. I'm a big Soyeon fan as well and they definitely have her style of writing which I enjoy very much. Safe to say I feel very pleased with the debut. I've been listening to both F Girl and Bet You'll Regret It a lot. Also sidenote: I love Beni's voice and lines sm. She is also only a few days older than me and I think that's cool :) Bias acquired. I just wanna hear what other people feel about the songs, mvs and members of BDC since most of the discussion about them is in regards to the controversy. I feel like it's targeted more towards younger people and older kpop fans might not be into it that much. I know this might seem like I'm being overly positive or "glazing" but I genuinely just love them a lot. Tell me what you think :D submitted by /u/EnniPumpkin [link] [comments]

2.539. do you find it weird when people use a different fancam to talk about issues on tt

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Idk if I'm crazy and I saw a han fancam talking about what happened with Junhan and I just saw so much hate towards the creator that they used han as the fancam for that. I've seen multiple videos that do that. Have different fancams for talking about a different issue. Is that not normal? submitted by /u/Biscuitsnstrawberrys [link] [comments]

2.541. so sagging is ghetto and tacky until tarrzan does it?

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

coming from a black person, I think sagging is tacky no matter WHO does it especially considering the history behind how it was originated. regardless of my opinion on sagging, the style as a whole has been ostracized and mocked for YEARS, but now all of a sudden it's β€œcool” because a korean man does it? oh I see how it is. https://preview.redd.it/egox7lu4w3af1.jpg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=26e32c6cdfe174ee38a19fddfd2bb7b1151c5bf8 https://preview.redd.it/cfkvs9u4w3af1.jpg?width=602&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1e4b01a8fcaf5a9c5d694fd85fde0070a7c38bf submitted by /u/miumiugirl444 [link] [comments]

2.542. Best of the Quarter - 2nd Quarter

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Hey everyone, I hope you all had an excellent 2nd quarter. The 2nd quarter was a pretty decent one as we went through a rainy Spring and into a hot Summer. I found the music to be a little better than the 1st quarter. It didn't take me long to find out who took over my quarter as it had been known since the first time I heard it. I'm excited to share with you all what took over, but remember look at my honorable mentions to see what else I liked this quarter. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛ https://preview.redd.it/31o4ybbkv3af1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b53ad6c5bcba584139c2f64f714275589110ad7b Honorable Mentions Songs: Dare Me - IVE Rise - TXT κ·ΈλŒ€ 눈이 λ‚΄κ²Œ λ§ν•΄μš” - Wonhee μ•ˆλ…• 내일 - The Wind β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β˜“ ━━━━━━━ Song: Rope It - Jin BTS Member Jin takes over my quarter with the B-side called Rope It. Jin goes for this western-sounding funky pop tune that has been on repeat since it was released in May. Jin's smooth performance keeps pulling me back for more. The hook is another catchy moment that's been stuck in my head. I'm still surprised that Jin takes over my quarter with this killer b-side that continues to be on repeat for me. https://preview.redd.it/xw5udx2wv3af1.jpg?width=320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6062fbd2f5478c68f08a56c924bd0dbb1aaa057 β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β˜“ ━━━━━━━ Honorable Mentions Albums: HOUSE OF TRICKY : SPUR - XIKERS Echo - Jin Summer Buffet - Yang Kyle Exit Wounds - Nosun Kick Out, Flip Now! - Kickflip Girls Will be Girls - ITZY Bomb - ILLIT β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β˜“ ━━━━━━━ Album: Mr. Independent - Trade L Trade L takes over my quarter with his killer studio album that I've been having on repeat. This project has some killer beats that keep the record alive. GTA features Street Baby which blends wonderfully with the performance from Trade L. We do get three solo songs on the project where Trade L spits some fire bars that keep me coming back for more. It didn't take long for me to love this album as some features worked well with Trade's vocals. I'm glad Trade L returned with new music that helped make the second quarter an excellent one. https://preview.redd.it/wquqq8jzv3af1.jpg?width=537&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=11400a3f484d55881123f3114e95c8403a85b35e β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β˜“ ━━━━━━━ Non-Korean Release Honorable Mentions: Something Beautiful - Miley Cyrus Azizam/Crashing/Sapphire/Drive - Ed Sheeran Muse - ME:I Unshutter/Let You Fade - Linkin Park Go In Blind - &TEAM Dark Side of the Sun - Men Envy Children More Like Jesus - Micah Fletcher The Last of Us: Season 2 (Soundtrack from the HBO Original Series) - Gustavo Santaolalla & David Fleming For Recreational Use Only - Blake Shelton β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β”β˜“ ━━━━━━━ Album: Lush Life: The Lost Sinatra Arrangements - Seth Macfarlane Seth Macfarlane released a tribute album to Frank Sinatra using unreleased arrangments that he acquired. Anyone who loves Frank's music or jazz will love this record. The orchestra arrangments work perfectly with Seth's vocals. Give Me the Simple Life is a sweet opener to this project as it's been pulling me back. Seth puts on these performances that keep this album alive no matter what song is playing. I remember playing this album on my JBL Speaker and it felt like I was listening to Seth sing this song right in front of me. I'm so glad that Seth was given the right to make this album cause it's one that brightened up my days and made me hope for another project with more Frank arrangments that have never been released before. https://preview.redd.it/drcrh0i7w3af1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=48e1c259491c0d3ab2c3a6702bcb2425f6e32c1e submitted by /u/Maltifandom23 [link] [comments]

2.545. Free from kpop demon hunter got me thinking

  • 3 weeks ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

So all the songs from the movie are absolute bangers. I wish netflix had made more out of it by making fandom merch and cds like it wouldev been awesome. But about free. The song is a duet by a male and a female "kpop" idols. It's completely emotional and romantic. "Easy with you to fight my dark side" i dont think there has been a Collab like this in kpop ever. Where the idols are not 1. Being sexual or suggestive. 2. Not longing for each other 3. Not singing about or to some imaginary partner. 4. Is not about being teased my a crush or running after a crush. Free is completely a dialogue between two people where they find strength in each other. As per the overall story it may not be romantic but you get the vibes. I wonder if we could see any kpop idols do something like this? Imagine a full duet choreography like who are you by bambam and seulgi. Maybe kpop is too sensitive to this stuff still? submitted by /u/seokjinseyebrows [link] [comments]

I'm really excited to shop for my ateez concert outfit, but I am definitely the kind of person who needs a game plan before shopping lolll. I would like to take inspiration from one of their comebacks, but copying an outfit isn't really an option. The concert is in the middle of the summer and quite honestly these boys wear too many layers. So, here's what I would love from you all! List off a few ateez comebacks and include 1. The colors you associate with it and 2. The clothing items that stand out the most to you Also, maybe talk to me about what you're wearing to your show/what you have worn to an ateez show in the past :) submitted by /u/ShinyFlower19 [link] [comments]

Fans are speculating this has something to do with new music, or the song that will be debuted at night 1 of their tour. Personally, Idgaf until we get actual teaser teasers or concept films, but hey, at least we know it's coming.
