3.309. It's Peaceful Being a Casual Fan of Any Group

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Seeing the obsessive side of fandoms on Twitter made me realize how peaceful it is to stay casual. I don’t stress about how well an album does, it doesn’t affect my life at all. Endless streaming? No thanks. Bulk buying albums? Definitely not. Worrying about whether a member or group got enough content? Not my concern. I just like the music. If I stop liking it, I move on to whatever new group I'm into. Adult life is already stressful and time-consuming enough, so adding more stress over something that’s supposed to be just enjoyable seems very silly to me. submitted by /u/Striking-Meal-5257 [link] [comments]

3.312. KiiiKiii's new song is actually so insanely good

I just watched their performance at Gayo Daejeon and the song is a masterpiece, I'm actually kind of shook. Not to mention the choreography. It looks super tiring but they looked so happy performing. I think this is definitely a good song for their first comeback. I can't wait for it be released next week. I've loved everything they've released so far but I know there were some people disappointed with the album and how different it sounded compared to I Do Me. Dancing Alone sounds nothing like I Do Me and yet it still has that youthful nostalgic vibe. Their music for some reason makes me want to cry even when it's upbeat lol. Did you guys check it out or are you waiting for the official release? I normally never check a song out before the official release but I was too curious. submitted by /u/Candystripe_Cosmos [link] [comments]

3.314. French Stays are on another level

Skz wrapped up their two-day sold-out shows at Stade de France and not only was the crowd crazy loud but they surprised everyone with a light project completely planned by Stays themselves using an app on their phones. I can’t believe how they’d managed to organize such a large scale project and coordinated the event with thousands of people but the result was absolutely stunning. I can’t imagine how touched the boys must have felt seeing it from the stage and they deserve every second of it. submitted by /u/SomewhereOnEarth37 [link] [comments]

3.316. Do your fav’s personal music tastes line up with the kind of music they release?

  • 1 month ago schedule
  • reddit.com language

Idk if this makes sense but I was chatting with a friend today about how I wasn’t surprised when V dropped Layover because the album (and his singles following Layover too, tbh) really fit the vibe of the kind of music he’s always recommended. I get that a lot of idols don’t have much say in their musical direction since companies usually call the shots more often than not. And even when they do get some freedom, it’s tricky because they have to balance everyone’s tastes in the group. But I’m curious if there are idols (or groups) who do have creative control but still put out music that feels way off from the musical direction they’ve expressed they favour. Of course, it’s normal to experiment here and there, but I’m just talking about when you consider their entire catalog as a whole and the genres they stick to - does it make sense for them based on what they've expressed/shared? (pls tell me I’m making sense here lol) submitted by /u/-puca- [link] [comments]

3.317. Can someone reminisce 2nd and 3rd gen with me please 🥺

I love current kpop but I also miss the groups I was obsessed with as a teenager. I miss the extreme guy liner and the intense desperate vocals. The strong concepts and story telling MVs. I miss groups like Vixx and infinite. I also really miss the nugu groups like knk, history, and cross gene. I also miss still camera dance practices 😭. Also scouring for the variety shows that were uploaded in like 18 parts on YouTube with subtitles made by fellow stans. The song is forever on my playlist. I also have a soft side for r&b songs and impurities has hit every standard for me. The beat is out of this world, and the vocals are prefecto. It stands along with eve, psyche and the bluebeard's wife. submitted by /u/Routine_Example5803 [link] [comments]

Excluding who the members are just based off of the concept. I’d go with illit i ADORE their concept especially their recent song with how they included games in the mv. Their concept is like a mixture of y2k,pixel and cute 😭. submitted by /u/StraightTemporary293 [link] [comments]
