So far I’ve been really impressed with their music quality? Specifically what you want. The lyrics my god it’s so refreshing to hear something that isn’t about love, or being the best (which seems like every tt song that drops is about these days) It’s a song about living your life and the lyrics are genuinely fun. And the teezo feature on the eng version is so fire, he actually added something to the song, which i can’t say the same for a lot of other groups remixes. I don’t wana say who my ults are but I’ve been genuinely disappointed in their releases this year due to their music direction which I know isn’t entirely their fault but that’s just the thing. Cortis is what happens when you let the artists take charge and find their own sound. submitted by /u/AdEmergency6619 [link] [comments]

My top 3 are: Pansy by Taemin Rise by Taemin Love Wins All by IU Pansy because the whole song and words have so much meaning to me. As in the verse 'how lucky am I' reminds me exactly that how lucky am I. Rise because it helps me see what I've come through as I have Complex PTSD. Love Wins All because there's a small part of me that hopes I will find love again. submitted by /u/JustSelection416 [link] [comments]
Imagine you could jump into a K-pop music video, just like jumping into a movie. Which video would you choose and why? Maybe it's because of the cool dance moves, the colorful outfits, the catchy song, or the interesting story. I would LOVEEE to be in Earth, Wind & Fire by BOYNEXTDOOR's MV. It looks so fun and interesting submitted by /u/Artistic_Giraffe4069 [link] [comments]
So I’ve been offline for a while and apparently missed a lot lol. Im not sure if they were ever actually dating, but I’m sure they aren’t together now. And personally, if my ex suddenly started posting private pics of me from 5 years ago without my consent on his personal account, I’d call him a creep and I'd see that as a very disturbing behavior. So I really don’t get why people are treating this whole situation as normal and some are even framing her as a "weak, poor woman". Like... what? Am I missing something?? submitted by /u/Narrow_Start_5340 [link] [comments]

Hello... This is so weird. Like I genuinely thought I was being paranoid (I have anxiety and am sometimes quite paranoid and thus actively watch who sees my stories on Instagram etc.) I have a casual account. It's not private, but the people who follow me are either my friends or other people who know me through others or social circles etc etc... So even the people I don't follow back, are people I can understand why they follow me. Sometimes random accounts watch my stories but there's often always a reason for it, like me joining in on a template. But lately, around the same time I started following this one nugu group, some anonymous private accounts who don't follow me have been watching my stories every now and then. I've kept count of them and taken screenshots just in case, and they're mostly accounts that seem to specifically be made for "lurking", as in, some of them don't follow anyone or only follow a few people. I brushed it off at first but well... I began finding reasons to think that these accounts could be members of said nugu group. I can explain some more if anyone wants, but for now: I made an entirely new account just to test it. Different email and everything to my original, so the algorithm doesn't know it's owned by the same person as my original account. I even started following random mainstream people, like Ariana Grande and some football players etc. just to fool the algorithm more. Then, I went to search up those accounts that had been watching my original account's stories, and the suggestions under many of those accounts included members of the nugu group. I even went to check some of the members' followers and many of the accounts that followed anyone, followed them. So they are definitely connected somehow. And I don't think these could all be just fans of the group because why would they make separate obvious lurking profiles? Like some of them don't have a profile picture and their username is just gibberish, random numbers, or just a keyboard smash. Although I've had my doubts, I talked to a few of my friends about this and now we're convinced that they are the members' alt accounts. Timing and everything, it can't be a coincidence even though it feels ridiculous to think that members from a group I love are lurking on my profile.... My friends even joked I'm gonna get casted lol cause I post dance videos on my profile a lot and my posts are overall already quite "K-pop idol personal Instagram"-vibe (quote from my friend) I've been in the K-pop scene since 2012 and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I was wondering if it happens to anyone else? Is this normal? Should I feel embarrassed that they're potentially making fun of me together or something? I know many of you might feel like it's hard to believe and trust me I don't fully believe it either but I have no other explanations so far. They're actually nugu btw, so it makes sense they're more interested in their fans cause they don't have super many, but still... I'm not going to say any names though, for now. TLDR: I highly suspect members of a group I follow are looking through my Instagram on alt accounts- anyone with a similar experience? submitted by /u/BicycleNo1181 [link] [comments]

Just read an NBC news article about the announcements for suspension of many US-bound international shipments, including from South Korea, due to the recent rule changes for the Trump Tariffs. Aside from many, many (way more important) issues that this is gonna cause (obviously) but pertaining to our shared interest here, US Kpop fans will probably have to find alternative ways to get new album releases or even skip getting new albums altogether and just support their faves with streams and digital purchases and such. And with touring getting that much tougher for many artists (not even just within Kpop) these days, could this lead to Kpop companies increasingly deprioritizing the US and maybe shift towards opening market spaces like China (who have been slowly opening up their restrictions on K-media)? Not the end of the world for US Kpop fans, of course, but it might have ramifications across the Kpop industry. Any thoughts? submitted by /u/NomadPrime [link] [comments]

By that I mean the one who keeps everyone together and helps the dynamic function. I know most people would say that a group wouldn’t work without even one member, which is fair, but what member do you think really solidifies their relationship as a group? For my 3 groups: I believe a few members of Ateez have all said Wooyoung fills this role, which I totally see Shinee’s was definitely Taemin- they could hate each other at points but came through for him so many times. K-pop equivalent of doing it for the kids With seventeen I’m not too sure, I think there are a few options but would like to hear other carats opinions submitted by /u/jakylln [link] [comments]
I have been watching some clips and some comparisons between reddit fans vs yt fans vs twitter fans vs ig fans of a particular group. And the thought crossed my mind that one day sooner or later these fans will have to satisfy themselves with their idols getting married and moving on in their life. Older groups who are active for more than 10 years have been slowly shifting to that part of their life. Fans back then used to be much more mature than how it is now, where 80% of newer fans being teenagers who can’t think past 4-5 years when it comes to their future. They get so much attached to their idols that it turns into unhealthy obsession. Harming oneself for the person who doesn’t even know you exists in particular. Twitter stans are such examples to take and learn to what things NOT to do when it comes to stanning an idol or a group. Anyways, so yaa idk how these so-called diehard fans will take in when that day comes but as I say it’s what reality does. submitted by /u/Daddy1007a [link] [comments]
