So I heard youtube is going to be using AI to verify its users age and identity to "make it a safer safe." I watch tons of k-pop videos (music videos, k-commentary, etc) on there and I am not fully sure how to feel about this. I personally don't trust AI and I don't think this is going to be making youtube any better than it already is. I think my youtube addiction will finally come to an end when this comes to effect. Will you guys still continue to use youtube after this? I might be a little overreacting to this but I sooo don't trust Ai with anything. What do you guys think? submitted by /u/Yveslovescats [link] [comments]
Hey everyone! I'm actually going to be in LA this week at the same time as BND because i'm going to the enhypen concert. I entered to win the fan sign, (I didn't win), and applied to work at it as well (I didn't hear back). I saw they are performing at the Grammy Museum but found out too late and I'm on the waiting list. I did see there is a fan cafe on the 14th. I was wondering if any of you knew of any other BND events or things happening this week in CA? I would LOVE to see them somehow!! thanks :) submitted by /u/BerryStyles9 [link] [comments]

Because to me it seems very obvious, that they are not. There are real singers who act as their voice actors for the songs, but Huntrix is not an actual group - they simply exist in this one singular movie. This is not the first animated movie to be based on music nor have a band in it, but this is the first time I'm seeing so much confusion around it. Like I've genuinely never seen people refer to, for example, alvin and the chipmunks as an actual boy band and never seen them been mentioned among the likes of BTS, one direction, etc despite also having real voice singers and being immensely successful. People making comparions to hatsune miku, plave, gorillaz, etc don't make sense at all, since Huntrix is not a vocaloid project or a virtual artist. Much love to all the amazing singers, but it genuinely confuses me how people think Huntrix is an actual kpop group. Perhaps seeing the popularity of the movie, they might make end up making it a virtual project? Similar to how big time rush decided to be a real boy band after the success of their series. submitted by /u/peach_tweech [link] [comments]
Lately, i have been OBSESSED with ghost girl by Yeonjun. I don't usually listen to that type of songs but it's just so UGHHH!! It gives me late-night-car-rides-in-NYC and it's soooo addicting!! His voice is soo pretty there in a unique way, and the instrumentals are just WOW! Can you please give me song recommendations with the same vibe?? submitted by /u/Zealousideal_Ear1146 [link] [comments]

If you'll claim all in sm was him. then all the bad is his fault too. He did horrible shi to his idols. Used a private funeral for his self-glorifying documentary. He's obsessed with AI and has AI voice banks of the A20 members. He used the song of an old group ( tvxq he had them black listed over worked and treated like slaves) he caused suffering for a new group, and acts like it's some legacy to be proud of. If I see anyone call hybe and Bangshiyuk the worst, then glaze sm and lee sooman as "og kpop" and the "best time for idols" I'm looking at you nasty. And on a second note end the 1st/ 2nd gen glaze. "I miss when idols interacted without hate." I also miss when BoA had a hate cafe pre-debut. "I miss when adults debuted." shaddup."Sexy concepts-" Majority of our sexy warriors were forced to do these concepts and/or were freshly 18. In conclusion SM now and before is BUNS. And old kpop was violent and much more toxic! Atleast K-companies remember the police is on their side. Idols were genuinely getting kidnapped submitted by /u/Medical_Let7132 [link] [comments]

I don't know if anyone else may agree with this, but I've speculated for a while, and I feel like a lot of the company's and labels that kpop groups are under cater more to delusional fans over the sane ones. Explanation: I know it may be a bit hard to differentiate between the lowkey creepy and disrespectful fans over the normal ones, but delusional and obsessive fans definitely bring in more money to these company's. They're willing to buy every album/merch product and go to every concert, event, and fan meet they can find. The whole kpop industry is practically built off of the oversexualization and infantilization of grown idols. That's why teenage fans will call a man in his 20s their "baby" and get ridiculously mad when an idol is merely near a person of the opposite gender. Companys will contantly post these roleplay videos of idols pretending to be your boyfriend or doing aegyo, and they don't even let idols date publicly, and even kick them out of their groups when they get into relationships. Anything to keep people in the fandom. They may claim they're protecting them, but if thats the case then why have so many idols had literal stalker fans in their hotel rooms with them or in their houses? Why are groups getting mobbed horribly in airports every week? Point being, it would be cool if the kpop fandom could take a stand and get rid of the fans that ruin it for everyone, but sadly that will probably never be done. The delusion causes harm not only to the idols, but to fans as well. I dont think its healthy to believe that a famous person loves you. We're almost in 2026 though, so somethings gotta give 😂 I wanna know what other people think 🤷🏾♀️ submitted by /u/girlwith_wheels [link] [comments]

recently got into ADP after hearing alot about them and i can't help but notice the gap in Youngseo's and Annie's skills. Their trainee period is almost the same (Youngseo-6 and Annie-5). Youngseo is the perfect GG member in every aspect. She has everything down from SP to nailing her parts down live. I find her so eye catching as a performer. She isn't very detailed with footwork but looking at some runext performances she might just be holding back idk. Anyways near perfect, dream trainee for companies probably. It might be her age at one point that made her debut not possible after she left illit. And then I see annie and i find her weak as a performer when I see her on stage and also stiff specially in the last chorus of famous. Even shaky vocals wise? I thought she might be fairly new so probably 2 years of training but turns out it's 5. It's TBL so I was expecting for her to have atleast one of Rapping/dancing/SP nailed. From the survival shows that I have watched one thing trainees with long trainee periods have is stability. You can reply on them and know there's a set standard for them which is higher than everyone because they are experienced and more desperate (Yunah is the most recent one I can think of). So is this a company difference or individual difference? Side note- Woochan with rapping is really strong looking forward to other verses that he has. submitted by /u/Additional-Buy-5663 [link] [comments]
