Because to me it seems very obvious, that they are not. There are real singers who act as their voice actors for the songs, but Huntrix is not an actual group - they simply exist in this one singular movie. This is not the first animated movie to be based on music nor have a band in it, but this is the first time I'm seeing so much confusion around it. Like I've genuinely never seen people refer to, for example, alvin and the chipmunks as an actual boy band and never seen them been mentioned among the likes of BTS, one direction, etc despite also having real voice singers and being immensely successful. People making comparions to hatsune miku, plave, gorillaz, etc don't make sense at all, since Huntrix is not a vocaloid project or a virtual artist. Much love to all the amazing singers, but it genuinely confuses me how people think Huntrix is an actual kpop group. Perhaps seeing the popularity of the movie, they might make end up making it a virtual project?
