The subreddit is mostly uncensored as long as people follow the rules. Generalizing statement about Korea, Korean society, etc or most other countries are not acceptable except under the following standards: The only claims that are acceptable when generalizing Korean society in this sub are those that bring up generalizable stastical claims by the standards of the international statistics institute. Not only do the vast majority of stastistics you can find on the internet about Korea not up to this minimum, basic standard but this requirement includes having ample sample size, blocking by relevant demographics and sometimes even double blind tests. So if you make a generalizing claim, your wording must be properly formatted and links to the relevant studies provided. In other words, the standard for making a generalization is very high in this sub. Not to mention the wording for your claim has to be properly made. Anyone who has taken a college level statistics class will know what I am talking about and we may even require you to provide the confidence level interval if it's relevant for your study. If you cannot meet these standards, I would just avoid doing it in general. submitted by /u/Kpop_Love_Forever [link] [comments]
After Easy, Crazy and Hot tour I realised Le Sserafim has a lot of potential, they have good stage presence, their dances are syncronised and they can sing quite well. But as much as I love these girls I need to agree that they were not ready for Coachella 2024.Ofcourse the performance was not bad as much as some ppl made it seem online, but it was not good.Coachella is a big stage where many prestigious artist performs. An iconic performance in Coachella could have boosted their popularity 3x times in the west. I think after their Perfect Night charted on BB Bubbling Under Hot 100 and Easy charted on BB Hot 100 Hybe desperately wanted to keep that momentum and sent them to Coachella undermining the fact that they were not ready. I feel sorry for the girls, but it was a bad desicion from their management, keeping in consideration that they were already facing heavy critisism at that time for their encore stages. So, what was supposed to be an iconic moment ended up becoming an excuse for the hate train.I think Le sserafim would have killed it if they perfomed at Coachella 2025. submitted by /u/Due_Collection_3363 [link] [comments]
Kpop demon hunters has pushed Ejae to stardom. (Deservedly so) She’s an incredible vocalist and songwriter and is also very pretty. Even though Golden was transposed down several keys on Jimmy Fallon, it was still very difficult to sing live and she nailed it. But something was missing. She lacked the X factor and stage presence from most KPop groups. Rose for instance isn’t as beautiful, doesn’t have the vocal range of Ejae but commands the stage far better. Even in her early blackpink days. In the eyes of K-pop studios, stage presence is more important than those other factors. And that likely got her rejected. With the release of Blue Valentine by NMIXX this morning, it made me realize how badly we need more sad songs in K-Pop. It is lowkey embarrassing how few we have had this year so far. Bright cheerful songs are not the only way to secure hits and I hope K-Pop companies get reminded of this. Also, a sad song does not need to be a ballad (like Blue Valentine). Please K-Pop Gods, let there exist more sad songs in this wonderful sub-art form! submitted by /u/SnooOranges829 [link] [comments]
It's so reminiscent to 2016 radio music and I'm all here for it!! If it doesn't have a choreo, Pledis I'm pulling up to the building istg 😼 submitted by /u/42_Yudoz [link] [comments]
This collab was super problematic because besides some normal stuff they also involved kiss marks and breaths of the members (whatever the breath part means) and guess whose one sold put first???? Yoonchae!!!! She's 17 and 17 IS STILL A MINOR FOR THOSE SAYING SHE'S ALMOST AN ADULT! this is still creepy. submitted by /u/NoPapercrowns [link] [comments]

MEOVV is a group that has a huge potential but the lack of promotion is just NOT it. ppl are saying Teddy is trying to replicate the way YG marketed Blackpink with less promotions but the thing is, BP appealed to the general public early on, the lack of release from them actually worked in their favor as everyone is anticipating any new music from them. Meovv however, has not. The buildup was insane leading to their debut only for them to release a song then dip. A lot of accounts on x were also trying to keep their name afloat but the lack of contents were not helping at all. I hope this comeback gives them a huge breakthrough in the industry. submitted by /u/lun__ugh [link] [comments]
LOL I rlly didn't know what to put on the title, but Fr I wanted to share my immense LOVE for Kickflip's recent comeback!! I knew they were going to debut back then & I wanted to see, above all, what aproach to concept would they take, as I rlly enjoy doing that but I was mainly antecipating to confirm if they were aiming for originality or continue to follow SKZ concept formula Sadly I didn't like their debut, but nonetheless, every once in a while, I would check JYPE channel & came across their title "My first love song" on the day of its release! I was NOT Ready for how much I loved the song!! The Young & fresh aesthetic, the sweet & relatable lyrics & the overall theme of having a theme crush? Its so cuteee!!! If I were to describe the sounds, its very lively, reminds me of TWS sounds, so if you like them I 100% recomend this song!! Let's go support them, the song is PEAK MASTERPIECE! 🩷🥹🤌 submitted by /u/d33pblushxy [link] [comments]

been waiting for an OT9 comeback as someone who has been there since there were 12 then 11 then 10 and 9. and now the chances of Lay being included in the comeback is higher than CBX. that anniversary live without CBX is probably a subtle foreshadowing but i didn’t lose hope but it seems like this comeback really won’t include them at all and honestly? just fuck SM, really. submitted by /u/lun__ugh [link] [comments]
So, I've seen "f(x) is so underrated and sm is useless" countless times. I don't know the real situation. As a bystander, I thought sm made snsd and f(x) compete and dropped f(x) after. Then throwing members to acting projects bc those were more profitable. No? I want to know the timeline. submitted by /u/PriorOk7478 [link] [comments]

Did you guys like this 1st full album by NMIXX? I think it's good but I was hoping for something more like Papillon, or like BOOM, Passionfruit, XOXO, Know About Me, Ocean, et cetera. Like NMIXX's Blue Valentine album is still one of the better releases of 2025 overall, but my hype levels or expectations were sky-high, lol. So I'm kinda wishing their next release will have more bangers that I can replay/repeat/loop/etc. for over 1000 times, like Papillon/XOXO/etc. My favorite Blue Valentine tracks are: Phoenix, Reality Hurts, Game Face, PODIUM, ADORE U, Shape of Love. Fellow NSWERs, I wish they had a different title track for this album as it's their first full album and some people will have different expectations with that type of release. And like the music video felt somehow low budget compared to say Know About Me or even SPINNIN' ON IT, so ya, I really want their next single/album/etc. to have better production/investment/etc. for the visual portion, since as always, they already have great vocals and instrumentals by default. submitted by /u/MNLYYZYEG [link] [comments]
