Hello everyone! My site, HallyuTones, has just secured an interview with Do-A (Bella) of ALICE to help promote her new song release ‘Bad For You (BFU)’. We would love the opportunity for BLRIS and other Kpop fans to ask her a few questions. We will be selecting some questions for use in our interview! Thank you in advance for your questions ❤️ submitted by /u/H1MIXX [link] [comments]

I often read that 5th gen groups aren’t really making much noise, or that their growth in popularity and numbers is kinda slow. Basically, Gen 3 and 4 are still well-known and dominating, while Gen 5 is struggling to make a name for themselves because the market is already crowded and they have to compete with older generations. Gen 3 came in when the K-pop market was rapidly expanding, and Gen 4 arrived when the market was at its peak. Even during COVID, as bad as it was, the digital side (streams, online presence, etc.) was at its strongest, so that helped them a lot. But Gen 5 came in after that peak started fading. The market doesn’t feel as crazy or explosive as before, so they’ve got a harder time building names for themselves. Looking at numbers now vs a few years back, it’s pretty clear things have slowed down. So Gen 5 groups need more time to really build their names. This numbers kinda shows it, the numbers this year just aren’t as big as before, which explains the current state of the K-pop market. What do you guys think? I have seen a few posts recently about new kpop groups being boring or all sounding the same (and more Westenized) & also about how lesser known groups aren't given a chance & end up disbanding & this inspired me to write this post. I recently discovered the group NouerA & I wanted to tell people about them (mainly because I hardly ever see them mentioned & also when I mention them, people haven't heard of them)! So if you are open to checking out lesser known groups then here is a bit of info about them & some links. They are a 7 member, multi-national group formed from the survival show Make Mate 1 who debuted in February & they consist of 3 Korean, 1 Korean Chinese, 1 Chinese & 1 Japanese member. Their sound has been described as more like old school kpop & they debuted with the song N.I.N (New is Now) MV & the promoted bside Bring The Crunk Music show performance. They have recently had a comeback with n (number of cases) MV & the promoted bside Beauty & the Beast Performance MV Their predebut song MU is also good if you like noisy music music show performance & I appreciate them trying to sing this live with it's difficult choreography before they have even debuted. Finally they have also done a cover of aespa's Black Mamba which is pretty impressive too KBS Open concert performance. Anyway if you have made it this far, thanks for reading. submitted by /u/Salty-Enthusiasm-939 [link] [comments]

Recently I've seen people saying the n word is just a word which is crazy especially with what the meaning behind that word is and I'm not black so I personally can't speak much about it but even I know that you shouldn't say it and I know somewhat what the word meant. Can we stop with the trend with "it's just a __" when an idol do something offensive? submitted by /u/hearts4him_ [link] [comments]
i am actually a new elf who became fan this year because my cousins are elfs and i got very interested in learning about sungmin's case from them. if you don't know about sungmin's situation, in 2014 he got married and there was a lot of drama about that from fans and then he decided to not join comeback for black suit when he come back from military because fans threaten to not support the album. but then he has been on hiatus since then. he had a solo album and but then debuted again as a trot singer and so far he looks hes doing okay. in april sungmin left sm entertainment for trot career to a trot company for trot activities and i was happy for him. i thought that meant he officially left super junior and i was happy because everything happening to him was very unfair and his last comeback with suju was more than 10 years ago. however this reveals that he is still signed onto super junior even though he left sm. donghae eunhyuk and kyuhyun also left sm for solo activities but they are signed onto sm for group. it looks like sungmin has also done the same. why would sungmin stay signed onto sm even though he knows by now he won't come back to super junior, i don't hate him i love his music lots of times. but he missed the comeback for suju 20th anniversary and it looks like he will never return. what is keeping him at sm when he has no group activities submitted by /u/parrotbiscuits [link] [comments]
Rules: You can comment on the same idol more than once, but only the comment with the most upvotes will count. For example, if there are many comments for Idol A with 1 upvote each, but one comment for Idol B has more upvotes, then Idol B wins. Comments that mention more than one idol will be disqualified. The second and third most upvoted idols will be given honourable mentions in the post. 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th: 🥇Momo (TWICE) - 23 upvotes 🥈Yuna (ITZY) - 19 upvotes 🥉Taeyeon (SNSD) & Kazuha (LE SSERAFIM) - 9 upvotes submitted by /u/ConnectionOk8413 [link] [comments]
