Hello everyone! My site, HallyuTones, has just secured an interview with Do-A (Bella) of ALICE to help promote her new song release ‘Bad For You (BFU)’. We would love the opportunity for BLRIS and other Kpop fans to ask her a few questions. We will be selecting some questions for use in our interview! Thank you in advance for your questions ❤️ submitted by /u/H1MIXX [link] [comments]

Song: Tap Tap by VERIVERY both Tap Tap and O.O have Chanti (The Hub) and Charlotte Wilson (The Hub) as co-writers (Tap Tap) and co-composers (both songs). also Frankie Day was one of the background vocals for O.O and a co-composer for Tap Tap i personally like the song a lot, it's the perfect amount of cute and fun! it's also the song that got them their first win🥹 (Music Bank and Show Champion) submitted by /u/fried_chicken03 [link] [comments]

I often read that 5th gen groups aren’t really making much noise, or that their growth in popularity and numbers is kinda slow. Basically, Gen 3 and 4 are still well-known and dominating, while Gen 5 is struggling to make a name for themselves because the market is already crowded and they have to compete with older generations. Gen 3 came in when the K-pop market was rapidly expanding, and Gen 4 arrived when the market was at its peak. Even during COVID, as bad as it was, the digital side (streams, online presence, etc.) was at its strongest, so that helped them a lot. But Gen 5 came in after that peak started fading. The market doesn’t feel as crazy or explosive as before, so they’ve got a harder time building names for themselves. Looking at numbers now vs a few years back, it’s pretty clear things have slowed down. So Gen 5 groups need more time to really build their names. This numbers kinda shows it, the numbers this year just aren’t as big as before, which explains the current state of the K-pop market. What do you guys think? I have seen a few posts recently about new kpop groups being boring or all sounding the same (and more Westenized) & also about how lesser known groups aren't given a chance & end up disbanding & this inspired me to write this post. I recently discovered the group NouerA & I wanted to tell people about them (mainly because I hardly ever see them mentioned & also when I mention them, people haven't heard of them)! So if you are open to checking out lesser known groups then here is a bit of info about them & some links. They are a 7 member, multi-national group formed from the survival show Make Mate 1 who debuted in February & they consist of 3 Korean, 1 Korean Chinese, 1 Chinese & 1 Japanese member. Their sound has been described as more like old school kpop & they debuted with the song N.I.N (New is Now) MV & the promoted bside Bring The Crunk Music show performance. They have recently had a comeback with n (number of cases) MV & the promoted bside Beauty & the Beast Performance MV Their predebut song MU is also good if you like noisy music music show performance & I appreciate them trying to sing this live with it's difficult choreography before they have even debuted. Finally they have also done a cover of aespa's Black Mamba which is pretty impressive too KBS Open concert performance. Anyway if you have made it this far, thanks for reading. submitted by /u/Salty-Enthusiasm-939 [link] [comments]
