(There isnāt a āconcertā flair so I hope this flair works.) This thought most recently came up for me with fromis_9ās concert announcement. They announced the concert on June 30, and the ticket sales are going to be on July 3? Thatās not enough time for anyone to be prepared to drop X amount of money unless theyāve already factored it in. At least give us a week to prepare for the ticket drop! They also didnāt give more information until today (I think) about pricing for VIP so itās like, even if I could try to scramble money for July 3, I donāt even know how much. Obviously, this isnāt the only company or group that has a short time. The last concert I wanted to go to was KIOFās last year, and their announcement and ticket drop date was about ten days which is better but still not great. (I wasnāt able to go to this concert either due to the lack of time to save money in between and my location got sold out.) Iāve seen people say companies due this because people will pay for FOMO, but Iām too old to be paying for FOMO. I have bills and a family to take care of. Iād gladly drop money for a concert if I had time to budget for it. Iām just really disappointed I may miss out on one of my ults just because I didnāt save for a concert I didnāt know was upcoming š. submitted by /u/kuhteen [link] [comments]
Halfway through the year, do you have any personal favorite releases this year? Iāve been in a bit of a slump this year. (Setting too high expectations for songs based on MV teasers/concept photos + current releases/trends not aligning with my taste) I havenāt ālovedā any releases but am still enjoying new music. I have a few songs below, in alphabetical order, that are standouts for me. ARTMS - Icarus Chuu - Kiss a kitty Fromis_9 - LIKE YOU BETTER GOT7 - PYTHON H1-KEY - Summer Was You i-dle - Girlfriend ILLIT - little monster J-Hope - MONA LISA KAI - Walls Don't Talk KiiiKiii - GROUNDWORK MEOVV - DROP TOP Shin Jiyoon - Did You Love Me? submitted by /u/ButterflyMinute9605 [link] [comments]
I would like to know what kind of shape or style you want to see more often in lightsticks since it is always the typical lighthouse with a ball, it is not bad but it is already boring (I say this as a BTS Army) but I would like to know what you would like to see again in a K-pop lightstick, do not be afraid, let your imagination run wild hehe. submitted by /u/Legitimate_Photo_867 [link] [comments]
So in the video mark from nct was in a fancall and the fan asked him to basically show his body and he basically said no. I don't understand what was so hard for them to understand about that. I swear some idols have to go through fans making uncomfortable requests on fancalls all the time. It's happend so many times now (I've also seen loads of weird requests vernon from seventeen gets) and I highly doubt these fans would say these things face to face or in a normal conversation. I really don't understand what's so hard about respecting someone's boundaries... submitted by /u/baldism [link] [comments]
Been wondering this recently and wanted to ask the community here :) What would you like to see more of, less of or improved on? More variety, authenticity, less over the top reaction or more over the top reactions? Funny bits or do you like the current reaction style format? All thoughts and comments are welcome! submitted by /u/artistnameseven [link] [comments]

I would love to hear about your experiences and any advice you have about giving freebies at kpop concerts. Iāll be going to the Stray Kids concert at the end of the month, and for the occasion, Iāve prepared some freebies. (the link is on the comments) Theyāre not many, just enough to be manageable, since this will be my first time giving out freebies at a concert. Being shy and anxious already, Iām a little nervous about it. Iāve heard many stories from people most of them positive but also some negative experiences. For example, some people refuse freebies of certain members, or there can be some rude behavior from others. I know these cases arenāt the majority, and I shouldnāt take them personally, but it still makes me a bit worried. Luckily, Iāve already connected with another girl who I am pretty sure will also be giving freebies, and I hope we can meet up so we can hand out freebies together. I think that would give me a lot more confidence, but of course, it will depend on the circumstances. My plan was to give out the freebies randomly since I donāt have many and want to avoid ending up with too many of certain members, but Iāll have to see if I can actually stick to that. submitted by /u/ForceApprehensive597 [link] [comments]
Hi, I'd like to know what ideas you have for K-pop groups, both female, male, and co-ed Can you tell us the genre you'd like to hear more of, the style, the composition, anything you want to see but don't see much (or at all) in the K-pop industry? You can also tell us a lineup of members that isn't common for you. Be creative and let your imagination run wild. Feel like a creative director creating a group for an agency (I'm really excited to read your comments, haha). submitted by /u/Legitimate_Photo_867 [link] [comments]

I watch a lot of Stray Kids content, and every now and then in either their own content or on some sort of entertainment shoe, they'll play some sort of sexually charged game. Often everyone kind of winks at it, they know what they're doing. But it's still kind of funny to me sometimes just how much they kind of play in the pretence that the game is TOTALLY NORMAL and NOT AT ALL sexual, especially because a lot of the time it's in ostensibly all ages content. My favourite example is Thigh Wrestling š. They often dress it up like "oh, we're seeing who is the strongest!" But like... it's young men trying to force each other's legs open. It's almost egregious. Of course there's the peppero game. Most of the time its kind of treated as a bit naughty, a bit of fan service, yes. But its still aimed at a relatively younger audience, and it always catches me by surprise how much they just wink/nudge away the fact that there are two beautiful young men basically simulating a kiss. Like. š³š³ I'm not complaining, not at all š I just find the juxtaposition you get sometimes to be genuinely funny. submitted by /u/WideCaptainEvenine [link] [comments]
I WANNA PREFACE THIS THAT THIS IS A POSITIVE POST!! I will have some minor complaints but I love the boys, have for a while now, and no matter what I say on here that hasn't changed. So I'm sure we've all seen the recent news that the boys are planning a full-group comeback in spring of next year, and as an ARMY who's been around since the start of 2018: I couldn't be more excited. Now, I do like their english releases, however I'm sure I'm not the only ARMY who's felt a little underwhelmed that the last proper new album we got that wasn't a solo project or a rerelease was BE (not to shade BE though that album is PHENOMENAL). Were their solos, the singles and rereleases good and fun? Yes! But considering that ARMYs who joined after BUTTER'S release haven't yet experienced a full group comeback with an entirely new album of songs, it made me realize just how long it's been. Obviously this was inevitable considering their mandatory service, so don't think this is me saying "boohoo the boys aren't who they used to be they used to be so much better" or whatever lmao. And they've released some amazing solo work that shows me they still have it! I do kinda hope whatever they make will be a slight return to form in terms of stuff like lore, but ik that's not a guarantee and moreso a personal wish of mine lol. I still remember my first full-group comeback being w/ love yourself tear, and that was such an exciting release (and still one of their best albums imo) so I'm glad a lot of newer ARMYs are going to finally get that magical moment! submitted by /u/Xx_KAT_xX [link] [comments]

Meant to post this during pride month but forgot š„²ā¦anyway, thereās that viral tweet that says that hanging out with gays always turns into a watching music videos party, so: What music videos would you queue up for Gay Music Video Night? My choices below. Non gays welcome to answer, obviously! I need new material for my queue lol. Crazy - Le Sserafim Self explanatory. This song was made for the gays. Whoever got the House of Juicy Couture for the video is a real one. I like when you can tell that someone did their research and didnāt just take a sound/aesthetic blindly. Impossible - Riize One of my favorite songs Iāve heard from a boy group. Iām convinced that if Troye Sivan had released this song it wouldāve been a hit in the gay clubs. And the crop tops are adorable La Di Da - Everglow Just feels like a super quintessential kpop video. A real crowd pleaser song and video that would have the crowd clapping by the end. Plus, those rainbow glitter fits! I had a tough time choosing between this, Dun Dun, and First. Catallena - Orange Caramel A classic and the concept is just so interesting and camp. Girls Never Die - TripleS This one is a bit of a wildcard but itās such a beautiful work of art really, and has a very powerful message that I think would resonate in a room. Honorary Mentions: QueenCard - (G)I-dle (for when youāre feeling like the boob and booty are hot), Cake - Itzy (this one was a huge hit among my non kpop friends), Glitch - Kwon Eunbi (mother), Queendom - Red Velvet (mothers) submitted by /u/triplel8540 [link] [comments]

I know people never have a real reason to dislike Jang Wonyoung, but I donāt get how is she a pick me when she has 0 clips of actual pick me behaviour but multiple clips of her being thoughtful and nice to girls. On variety shows she has also showcased more hostile/distanced habits towards men except that one actor. I never saw her overdoing fanservice for male fans either. I I read comments not long ago of your Ā« controversial Kpop opinions Ā» and it was full of calling her a pick me. I thought this discussion was over. Maybe ragebaiting idk. I know idols never talk ill about each other but why would so many people go out of their way to praise her? I you donāt like someone and canāt shade them wonāt you just keep quiet? If thereās a Jang Wonyoung hater here can you explain your point of view because I canāt see anything else than jealousy and insecurity/misogyny. Iām not saying that as an insult I genuinely think thatās the case. submitted by /u/Necessary_Middle4616 [link] [comments]
