So I was just tapping through my insta stories, everything is normal, until all the sudden I see...pomni? jax? I look up at the username IT'S TAEYONG?? HELLO? IS THIS A CRY FOR HELP??? "Leeseo shouldn't have been in the group", "IVE don't need her", "She doesn't do or add anything to the group" These are all statements I have heard a million times. The thing is, despite disagreeing, I don't actually have much of a problem with these statements. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion,and as long as you are not being hateful, you should be able to voice any opinion you have. The problem I have is that these same people who say these stuff, don't give her credit when she actually does some great work. Take the Attitude MV for example, Starship Entertainment tried some really creative things with Leeseo and despite not having too much time to work with, she put her all into the character she was portraying in the MV and she was one of the bright spots of that MV and era. She added so much more personality to her dancing and performances as well. I saw almost nothing about her from these same people. Some even go quiet which is quite telling. Then, we have IVE's most recent comeback, XOXZ. Leeseo absolutely shined in this MV so much. Whenever she was on screen, it was hard to look anywhere else. She crushed it. Yet again, dead silence. I then listened to the album and Leeseo had undeniable major singing improvements. Nothing. Usually I have trouble deciding between a few members. The exceptions for me are: Day6 Wonpil, IVE Yujin. Those are the only ones i can think of where it just happens to be the case! As the title says what are your favorite what ifs in kpop? Some of my favorites: Allegedly Idk if Lee Sooman ever confirmed or not but it's been rumored that Red Velvet was going to have an unlimited member system like NCT after Yeri debuted in the group but the negative reception to RV no longer being OT4 put a stop on that and they remained as the OT5 we know today. I'm a casual listener of straykids I don't think I've ever listened to a whole album by them but I do tune in to title tracks and I usually really like straykids title tracks but this one felt lacking and not in the MV because straykids always have really good MVs but I couldn't get into the song and I wasn't sure why at first so after a couple listens I realized I didn't really like the chorus or the ending but I'm pretty sure I've seen that this song is doing really well along with the album so I wanna know what others opinions are about this song from stays and casual listeners like me.
