This sounds so weird, but I wish to be as carefree as I used to be when I was getting into K-pop. I am aware (in fact I was very aware) if I get too delusional so I step back. I kinda want to go back into my SHINee era but not too much since I literally HAD to be delusional and be in my own bubble because whenever my bias get mentioned they start becoming sad or even insulting me for having a bias that passed away. There was even a time where I was constantly cyber bullied that it placed me in the pits of depression because all I wanted was to be treated like any other K-pop fan. In my opinion, that was too much for me and I never want to go back to that state. In fact, I never want to be in a situation where I literally had to be delusional in order to be a fan of a certain group due to how badly I was treated. And yes, my new ult is ATEEZ and it’s a much better group overall. I didn’t need to be delusional, and I could just genuinely talk about them and I am treated like everyone else. Sure I get the occasional, “better wash myself up good even though I’m in the 400s and they probably won’t see me” but I want to be delusional enough that they show up in my dreams every night. ATEEZ has been in my dreams occasionally since I went to their concert back in January, and I would get concert dreams of seeing x K-pop idols from time to time. I would love to see them more and also in general be a bit more loose. I do snap out of it quite easily, so I’m not worried that I will definitely have a chance with them and start running to South Korea by walking on water like Jesus Christ. I also want to find people who are just like me, not too normal but not too delusional. Just enough where we could say something stupid that will haunt us couple of years in the future while we’re trying to sleep and laugh about it. If anyone can give me tips, let me know. submitted by /u/asahilovesjjong [link] [comments]

Do you think, comeback in next year is the right descision? After military, everyone thought they will be going to have comeback after 2 months but now i feel like I lost the excitement Anyone felt like that?other groups also given the cb after military discharge but bts taking 1 year to give new comeback After military many boy groups loose the fans and sometimes they loose the track ,there are many armys still in active and some fans of new other groups 💀 And armys are still in their old era.they still belive in making fans are robots I want bts to adopt to new zen z PR and promote their album as they deserves Bts broke the records of many popular pop stars still somehow I felt that they didn't getting the recognition that some people stats gets..i know bts don't use paypola and radio like them but still bts needs to up their game like they are doing for their solo album. Also armys loves to Getkeeping thier music so much, they loves to getkeep them form Bts went to military when they was in their peak .korea don't deserve them bts would have become more successful if they would have not went to military but anyways want bts to gain their old momentum back submitted by /u/BullfrogVisual2832 [link] [comments]

2 minutes? 2 friggin minutes? Are you kidding me, JYP? That's all these girls get? After all the shenanigans you've pulled since KG's departure & after all those desperate attempts at generating hype over a rebrand of a group you've been exposed for mistreating, you give these girls a song that's barely over 2 minutes? I'm done. I'm so friggin done. KG & Kaylee dodged a bullet. As for the stans who are eating up this nonsense while pretending that KG's story wasn't real & that she's some liar who only wanted a solo, are you happy now? submitted by /u/GenoveveSimmons15 [link] [comments]
So, I was scrolling through my YT timeline and saw one clip - VVS Brittney Joins And Leaves The Blakc Label. I was like "hmmm" then I checked it out and there was another in recc. (as you can see in the screenshot). So, my question is, Is it the marketing tactic now for smaller company idols who were former trainees of big 4 or big companies to come out with their infamous trainee stories? Previously I remember, back then in before 4th gen idols weren't this vocal about their former companies or previous trained companies comapred to how it is now. I may be wrong don't come at me for this since I am saying the things I know. So, now it seems it's a way to garner attention of a larger fanbase of those big companies. And I guess people like it coz they get to know what their fav idols have been like in their trainee days, how their fellow trainees / former trainee-mates says about them. Back in the day, most of the time we get surprised if we come to know that one of the idols of this said group was a trainee of that other big company before. But now it's like pretty much open for all. Everyone knows who came from which company to which company they debuted, etc, etc. What your take on this? submitted by /u/Daddy1007a [link] [comments]

Basically, let's say Group A sold 1 million copies first week. But actually, it's not organic because only 500k was bought by fans, and the remaining 500k was bought by the company. Here, the company resells the 500k albums under the "lucky draw/fansign/fancall events". like... if you buy from us, you'll get a chance to win the event. The more you buy, the higher the chance for you to get picked. Companies will hold numerous and multiples events until the 500k copies are sold. That's why you see many groups' lucky draw/fansign/fancall events last for 3 ~ 5 months after the comeback promotion ended. heck, even right before the new album release, they are still holding fancall events for the previous album. Is it okay to do that? I heard even big companies do it because of how important the "first week sales" label is for their artists. submitted by /u/tresnosliramu22 [link] [comments]
