I’m confused about blinks and Jennie Solo and their selective amnesia about Jennie relationships. Why do Jennie fans try so hard to erase the timeline of her and G-dragon relationship?… during 2021 when their relationship news was everywhere,her K-fans and even blinks could barely deny it and were mainly complaining of the invasion of privacy… But now they have totally pretended there was never such rumors. And why do they have an unhealthy obsession with V out of all her relationships?her relationship with Kai was confirmed but even they have forgotten the details of what happened. But they remember every detail with V with such scary fixation!? they have wiped clean everything that previously associated Jennie with GD even the hate she got… Like they remember the instagram follow but the don’t remember trending hashtags calling GD a stalker that even made it to the news for his Instagram activity with Jennie. The wait was worth it! Blown away by her new EP, In Bloom. The title track might be her best yet, and the bsides ain’t freeloading either. Rocky vibes throughout, but we get citypop vibes, loungy vibes, and both angsty and feelgood rock with vocal performances to match! Proper, real band instrumentals, and 10/10 vocals. And she took charge on melodies and lyrics for the album apprently, and also composed several tracks. Absolute banger album that deserves a listen! I find it to be a great shame. Look at 2nd gen groups, even the ‘worst’ singers could still consistently sing live without issue. It really started going downhill in 3rd gen, although there were still instances of good and honest live performances (that one Red Velvet rookie performance were Seulgi had to swap mics comes to mind). Nowadays, it seems that singing has fell to the wayside in favour of visuals and choreography. Even solo artists who began in 2nd gen groups are mostly lip syncing now. I would LOVE some more nugu songs to be obsessed over! Even if it's from a group that only lasted an era or two. The obscurer the better! I want to find groups I haven't heard of before here. Preferably NOT 5th gen groups since they don't interest me, sorry. The examples I'd give would be A Bad Thing by Purfles, But Go by A.KOR, and Don't Cry, Be Happy by BGH4.
